I just want to post a few ideas that I've been using in UU and that have been working decently for me.

Persian (M/F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Speed, 252 Special Attack
Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack)
---Hypnosis
---Icy Wind
---Shadow Ball
---Swift

First of all, credit for this set does not belong to me, but one of my close friends on Shoddy. I mearly thought of useage and EVs. Anywho, This is more of a mid-late game sweeper of sorts. I usually switch this in when the enemy has about 3 pokemon left. Usually I hypnosis the first, causing them to switch out, then use Swift (120 Base with Technician) to catch the pokemon that switched in, and continue from there. Icy Wind is for Aeros or Swellows or Grass Types, whichever comes first. Shadow Ball is to deal with nasty Rotoms.

Why wouldyou focus-sash a mid-late use pokemon? SR will likely be up then so sash is a waste.

edit:

BTW technician boosts swift to 90, not 120. With STAB it's an effective 135 base move.

Also, unless you need the speed drop and Shadow Ball's effect, you'd be better off replacing one of them with hidden power Ice/Ghost 60 respectively for the technician boost. I'd probably replace Shadow Ball for Hidden Power Ghost 60 (boost to 90 with technician).

I'd say make that Persian a lead and not a mid-late game sweeper as the Focus Sash lets him survive other leads attacks while you hit them back with your powerful STAB'ed Swift unless it's a Ghost of course, then you could just Hypnosis.

Would it still have 31 speed? I'm not to aware of hidden power ivs, let alone technician hp's. IMO icywind > HP ice because of the speed drop. Most ice are used to 4x pokemon. (jumpluff / tropius >.>)

Meh, I'm bored so I'll post something. Doubt it's new but I've never seen it before so yeah.

Tyranitar @ Life Orb
Ability: Sandstream
EVs: 8 Atk / 252 SpA / 248 Spe
Mild nature (SpA, - Def) / Hasty nature (+Spe, - Def)
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam

I use it more as a lure for certain Pokemon to allow me to set up easier with another Pokemon late game. It kinda functions just like Chain Chomp, meant to cripple it's counters by luring them into a false sense of security with Dragon Dance. First turn, Dragon Dance and there usual Hippowdon / Bronzong / Skarmory or whatever will come out and then I either OHKO or cripple them to the point where they can't effectively wall. Seems like a total gimmick but I've had success with it. No idea if I came up with the idea to be honest but I've never seen it before so I'll claim it as being new until I'm proven otherwise. The Mild nature and 248 speed EVs let T-Tar outrun neutral natured base 115 Pokemon after a DD (or with Hasty all base 115 Pokemon), then maximum special attack, then the rest dumped into attack. I've been using it a lot recently and seems to be working well for me on the suspect ladder :p.

quoting to agree that this is a cool set, but you need hasty to outspeed base 115 pogeys.

Thanks, glad it's decent. I didn't phrase it properly. Those EVs outspeed only neutral natured base 115 Pokemon (which is rare I guess considering Modest Azelf/Starmie is non-existent, at least you outrun Adamant Ambipom I guess :/). It should probably have a hasty nature as well as I've used both with success, I've just been running Mild lately for the hell of it really since it maintains basically the same OHKO/2HKO ranges and what not.

@Persian Discussion-- Which is why I suggested Hidden Power Ghost over Shadow Ball as the better alternative . . . heck, you could go hidden power Dark too, which IMO is better by not being immuned by the many normal types (read: clefable).

If you're going to go Hidden Power Dark, it's probably better to just go Dark Pulse to abuse Persian's speed and the Flinch Chance.

Old man Jabba used to use that a lot like months ago and (BAN ME PLEASE) Curt used it too. It's a damn cool set.

Jynx (F) @ Focus Sash / *Nevermeltice
Ability: Forewarn
EVs: 4 , 252 Speed, 252 / *8 HP, 252 Speed, *248 Special Attack
Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack)
---Lovely Kiss
---Wish
---Ice Beam
---Focus Blast / *Substitute

Basically Wish works well with Lovely Kiss on the switch. Using Substitute allows you to protect yourself against Pursuit, but Focus Blast covers Ice, Steels, Darks, Rocks and Normal-type Pokemon!

I used this for some good sucess, as many people don't expect Wish, and don't expect Focus Blast (as they bring in Steel types to resist Ice). Wish is good for the Speed of Jynx (using it before it dies), and because it can use it free on the switch out.

Focus Sash makes her a great and surprising lead, and if you use Focus Sash, make her 4 HP, 252 Speed, 252 Special Attack.

However, if you plan on using Substitute, use Nevermelt Ice for more Ice Beam damage, as the * EV spread allows you to Substitute 4x down to 1 HP.

"Bulky SubSeed/Rain (Dish) Support"
Ludicolo@Damp Rock/Leftovers
Rain Dish
Calm
252HP/132Def/124SpD
Substitute
Leech Seed
Rain Dance/Toxic
Surf

Ludicolo's other ability "Rain Dish" is underestimated as Swift Swim is preferred for being agile for sweeping and/or stalling. This set however, focuses on being bulky and supporting. Since the speed is not needed a lot on this set "Bulky SubSeed/support not fast SubSeed", it has a similar EV spread to the standard Calm Swift Swim set, but with max HP and some Def EVs to take more physical hits. Rain Dish+Leech Seed= 3/16 of max HP recovery each turn, therefore Leftovers is not a big lose when it's replaced by Damp Rock. Having Leftovers is still a nice option as Leftovers+Rain Dish recovers the HP lost from the Sub in 2 turns and one if Leech Seed is up. Toxic is basically for stalling, but it's better to have Rain Support for yourself and your team mates. The last slot is for STAB + Rain boost.

I'm surprised that no ones thought of that set for Ludicolo:) Looks like it would make for an annoying set to deal with, good job MetalForce.

Pokemon Name: Blissey
Moveset Name: Gravity
Move 1: Gravity
Move 2: Sing
Move 3: Blizzard
Move 4: Softboiled
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 Def / 40 SpA / 216 SpD

Gravity makes Blizzard have 100 accuracy and Sing have 91 accuracy. Blizzard is a good attack to deal with Garchomp and the other Ground Pokemon that will inevitably come in to abuse Gravity. You could put 108 EV's into SpA to gaurantee a OHKO on 4HP/minSpD Garchomp with Blizzard. Blizzard still has 93 accuracy against Garchomp in Sandstorm and 85 if it also has Bright Powder.

Is anyone going to comment on this set?

That looks like a great set, gravity is an awesome move and when you combine it with inaccurate moves such as Blizzard and Sing then it's pretty much unstoppable, good job. Although you do realize that Taunt users in OU such as Azelf are going to give it problems.
