That's cool if those do turn out to be the tutor moves...but I have a sneaking suspicion that is false.

Shards? Come on. I doubt that's the case. I would assume that the tutor moves would be earned through battle points in the battle frontier.

Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Trick, and possibly Zen Headbutt are the only other usable ones, haha. I'm kind of let down if those are the real ones, though. =(

sucks that these possible new additions can be used to deal with gengar, yet there aren't any new things that can deal with garchomp.
 
Well, Garchomp's been sent to Uber anyway, so I don't think it matters for OU Pokemon.

On a different note, can one of you guys recommend some good movie/sound recording software?
 
Couldn't help you with that but I really hope for an Icy Wind tutor. I love the idea that you can hit a pokemon with Icy Wind as they switch in and immediately be at a speed advantage.

I don't want to be the one that says it, but are we even sure that there will be move tutors?

Even if they do turn out shitty...well we can always hope that there are some ridiculous new egg moves.
 
I'm hoping for tutors more so than egg moves. I can just add a tutor move, but we will need to breed all over again for new egg moves <.<

There is one already...in Emerald. If the same tutors are back, that'll reduce the value of many Emerald breeds. :(

that's something I'm fearing. Level up moves are on Serebii, do we have any indication that there will be new egg moves? For that matter, tutor moves?
 
LGY - Honestly...who cares?

Especially if we get the ability to put some former emerald only exclusives on D/P pokemon. I'm thinking punches on Lucario and Croagunk.

If swampert gets ice punch I won't be bummed that I already bred an Emerald one. I think it's safe to say that by this time tomorrow we'll know all about potential tutor moves. I'm sure there are people who are just up all night playing.

Anti - I heard someone mention something about egg moves a number of times in this thread and it would appear that Pachisuru gets Seed Bomb by breeding with Breloom. Either that or it gets it by move tutor. So that example right there indicates that we will be getting at the very minimum one or the other.
 
The possibilty of ice punch/shadown sneak gallade has me salivating. Although I might just go with swords dance bullet punch scizor. damn, this is a tough decision.
 
It doesn't really matter that emerald breeding will be devalued (though I am one of those that wishes it was not) but it would be lame for the tutor moves to simply be repeated. New ones would be nice.

Good point Tuskate, I forgot about that. I guess we'll have to wait to see which (if not both) it is.

gallade doesn't get bullet punch... you referring to Scizor?

What else would benefit from the new punches tutors (assuming they are so)? Lucario of course... Gallade, Ursaring's been said... Granbull's got the same story as Ursaring.
 
Hmmmm I wonder, could there be two sets of tutors? The one we saw asked for shards, but what if it wasnt in the Battle frontier? There might be one in there with completly different moves? The possibilites are endless with this game.
 
The Rotom forms are awesome, especially Washing Machine Forme and Lawn Mower Forme. Looking forward to getting Platinum.
