lol that's true. It would be pretty ridiculous if it were impossible to use in battle though. How would nintendo go about changing the current situation where it changes back to its regular form?

Honestly, for every niche it fills, something can do it better.
For pure power, pass some speed on to Marowak and sweep like no tomorrow. If you can get an SD in, Intimidates and burns won't even hurt you. (Outrage sucks on it, ok)
For Mold Breaker, I'd rather use Pinsir, who has good typing and defense and can get in easier. Not to mention better speed and cool Bug STAB. I don't know about the numbers for Bronzong and Skarmory, though, so Hyper Cutter is potentially better to block Intimidate.
For Rock Polish, use Rhyperior or even Armaldo, who function better in SS and don't even need a Sash. A smart player will void random Grass Knots and Surfs, although it's arguably harder now with lots of things getting Aqua Tail....

Im not saying its a bad idea but the amount of time that it could take might not be worth it due to the reasons I put into the other post =)
 
With Earth Power, hedgehog form can still make a decent Specs user, it just does require Hidden Power still.

The bush got earth power, lol forbidden ranted to me before platinum was even out how that'd make shaymin a lot better lol, land shaymin should benefit alot from this too. Hmm did you check any other moves for it (like does it get synthesis?)
 
That's pretty awesome to know. Shame it doesn't learn Roost.

Though even coming from hedgehog Sheimi, Air Slash is stronger against Grass and Bug-types, and Earth Power is stronger against Steel-types, than HP Fire 70.
