They can switch for the new round though, but if they have something that can switch in to wall Luke, they will obviously do it on the first round instead.

Inner Focus is preferred on sets with ExtremeSpeed since you already have the option of going first and that way you get more SDs in.
 
If I trick a black sludge onto my oponent and they become poisoned, but then they use rest, will they become poisoned by it again the turn they wake up?

Lustrous Orb only works on Palkia right? I was using it on Kingdra after Aldaron mention he used it with success, but is this a Shoddy glitch or does it also boost water and dragon moves in game for other Pokemon not just Palkia.
 
Regarding the Battle Frontier guy that check your IVs in Emerald:

If your Pokemon's IVs are 31/31/31/31/31/31, which stat will he say is flawless?

Does he always say the same stat is flawless when you let him check that Pokemon another time?
 
"the man will proceed to mention the best IV that Pokémon possesses. If it has more than one best IV, this will be random. Talking to the man repeatedly will make him speak about the other equally best stats.
"Incidentally, the best aspect of it, I would say, is its (HP / ATTACK / DEFENSE / SPECIAL ATTACK / SPECIAL DEFENSE / SPEED) ..."
He then gives a judgment about that IV alone:
"It's flawless! A thing of perfection!" IV=31"

Can someone please tell me this:
I am about to Ev-train my Seviper, and it doesn't have Pokerus on it. It does however have a small yellow dot/face right next to it.
What does that dot/face mean?

And when I faced 4 Bidoofs with Power Weight I get 40 Evs instead of (my thought) 20 Evs.

Can someone please explain what's happening here? :S
 
The little smiley means your Seviper still has Pokerus, but it cannot pass it onto others.

Since Pokerus doubles EVs recieved... normal 20*2=40

The face means that it had the Pokerus but got better. It still gets the doubled EVs, it just can't spread it anymore. The Power item is working properly assuming you were training that Seviper.

EDIT: beaten by the guy with the Sonic avatar. I guess it's appropriate that he was faster than me lol.
