I've been rethinking my team lately, and I need some help with a few things.
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Relaxed/Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/128 Def/128 Atk/4 Spe
IVs: 0 Spe
-Gyro Ball
-Hypnosis
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
My starter. His Gyro Ball does incredible amounts of damage to all kinds of pokemon. Anything that wouldn't take much damage from Gyro Ball would probably be hurt by Earthquake. Anything that Gyro Ball or Earthquake doesn't work on or that I think would be threat to the rest of my team, I can put to sleep with Hypnosis, but use Stealth Rock next turn. The reason I give it 4 EV points in speed is because if I go up against another Bronzong, my Bronzong will be faster. And the reason I invest in DEF instead of Sp. Def is because I already have a Special Wall, so I need a Physical Wall, which is what Bronzong can be.
Electivire @ Expert Belt
Jolly/Motor Drive
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
-Cross Chop
-Earthquake
-Thunder Punch
-Ice Punch
My Physical Sweeper. With his four moves covering 13 of the 17 pokemon types, it's hard to bring in something against it without it taking a great deal of damage. I'm not 100% sure about Electivire, mainly because of his defenses. Got any better ideas?
Dugtrio @ Life Orb
Jolly/Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Aerial Ace
-Sucker Punch
My ace in the hole. If I time it right, he might take out at least two pokemon without hardly even trying. His Earthquake will kill anything that doesn't resist it. Anything that does resist it, I'll use either Rock Slide or Aerial Ace. And if something happens to be faster than it or I think they'll survive my attack and then they'll try to kill me, I'll use Sucker Punch and get in the first hit.
Blissey @ Leftovers
Calm/Natural Cure
EVs: 254 Def/80 SpA/176 SpD
-Toxic
-Softboiled
-Seismic Toss
-Protect
My Special Wall. No special attacks are getting through this thing. Then I just poison the pokemon with toxic, and then keep using softboiled and protect in order. And if it's a poison or steel type that I'm up against, then I'll use Seismic Toss every other turn then. It's a great switch in, and goes really well with many of my other pokemon.
Starmie @ Leftovers
Timid/Natural Cure
EVs: 160 HP/132 SpA/216 Spe
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Recover
My Special Sweeper. Fast, its attacks cover a good amount of types, and has good recovery. It works great with Blissey. Those two just go hand-in-hand for me, and it's hard for something to get through it.
Gengar @ Life Orb
Hasty/Levitate
EVs: 136 Atk/252 Spe/132 SpA
-Explosion
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Thunderbolt
I'm not really sure about this last pick. So I could really use help with this last pokemon right here. Should I stick with what I've got here (please give me a good reason why I should stick with Gengar, if so)? Or go with something else? And if so, what pokemon?
Thanks in advance for you help. I can really use it.
