I'm away with school for a few days so I won't post xD
But I can tell you that the Hippodex counts 45 members til so far. Only 105 to go ;)

Wow, you guys a frickin' amazing.
I have decided to post my first sprite, hence my first scratch also for the CAP project.

Any suggestions?? I know I need to work on the black outlines.
 
I made this 1 myself i'm kind of a beginner so i'd like to have tips to improve :D

I used Charizard's colors, Swellow's Wings and Thyplosion's fire and eyes and this is what i made. a Flameorel :)

hm theres one aspect that many spriters do wrong (infact even good spriters do that) they put the tail in front of the wings. Thats just non-sence. a animal will never have its tail in front of its wings (if you imagine it you know what i mean).
another thing is copyflipping. never EVER copyflip. i did this my self for a while and i know how hard it is to not copyflip but come on, it looks like it has two mirrored wngs and eyes. if you cant include a second body part of the pokemon just try to scratch. I could go in some details of this sprite who are wrong now but as i'm an lazy ass im not =P
Dont worry just practise enough and you'll become a very nice spriter.

Hey thnx alot i keep your tips in mind and maybe i get some luck. About a request, i'd like to see a some sort of bigger evolution of Electrode.

EDIT: This is another ''sprite''. I just tried to make a bigger evo for Spiritomb it looks like this:

That's a shame. I can't see the sprite through the JPEG artifacts. Just a reminder: always save sprites as PNGs. It will save you a lot of grief in the future.

Pixel overs are not scratches. To be honest, the best description of this sprite is "sloppy"; it looks so dirty that I didn't realize that it wasn't a JPEG until I actually checked. It looks nothing like the D/P Pokémon sprites at best (No, you may not use only 12 colors; 14-15 out of the 16 colors are typically used in D/P sprites), and needs either a severe clean-up or to be completely redone. Apologies for sounding harsh, but practice is simply a necessity for good scratches.
As long as CAP 5 sprites are being posted, I may as well post mine.
