I currently own just a Wii, since I'm quite fond of the Nintendo Franchises, and Virtual Console is a Blast, though I'm considering getting a 360 soon, since it's pretty inexpensive in Canada.

How about you, Smogon?

I own an Xbox 360 and a Wii.

I'm fucking addicted to Halo 3 on the 360 at the moment, and there's a total of three games that I want to buy coming out on Friday alone, not even mentioning Gears 2 during November.

As much as I love Nintendo, the sheer lack of decent games on the console at the moment is dissapointing. As good as Brawl is, I can't just play that for hours on end like I can Halo.

Playstation is the best console overall in my opinion, but the lack of games is a big put-off for me. The only games that really interest me are Metal Gear, maybe Little Big Planet, and maybe, maybe Resistance 2.

How could a system be the best overall if it has a lack of games? Seems to be a paradox. Unless you mean the PSX or PS2 is the best console overall but you dislike the PS3.

I have an Xbox 360 (current favourite this generation) and Wii (Nintendo franchise machine). The Wii gets very little use from me while the 360 gets considerably more. I intend to get a PlayStation 3 by the end of the year.

I own a wii.

Considering getting a 360 but am having second doubts...

The cost of buying the console (60GB) + Games + Wireless Adapater + Live is putting me off a bit...

I mean the machine in itself is best, considering 360s are faulty and the Wii still doesn't even have a DVD player.

Guess I should've explained that in more detail.

None of them. I leeched off my brother's Wii but then he traded it in for a 360 lol

Like Firestorm I intend to purchase a PS3 by the end of the year, mainly because there are tons of great fighting games such as SFIV, STHD, Blazblue, etc. that are going to see an inevitable PS3 release.

there are a lot of games I never played for the Wii that I need to get around to beating somehow though, such as Galaxy and Trauma Center. For now though the DS is more than enough, really it's just super good, call me crazy but it's pretty easily my favorite system of all time.

I own a Wii but I play it in bursts. Sometimes never, sometimes a lot. Nintendo make some awesome games such as Mario Kart: Wii, but nothing seems to be coming out really. Although, Animal Crossing. It's a shame the new GTA isn't coming out on Wii, just DS for that would've been awesome!

I still need to get around to playing many of the "greats" though, especially Mario Galaxy..

I own a 360 and a Wii, and like many others, my 360 gets tons of use, while I use my Wii only rarely.
I also plan to get a PS3 sometime this year because there are actually good exclusive games for it now!

I only own the Nintendo Wii and both current portable system (DS and PSP). Will get a 360 in the upcoming months though, not interested on the PS3.

My Wii, also, tends to get played in bursts. My 360 gets more steady usage with games like SC4 being quite popular among my friends, and Viva Pinata being something I can turn on every day. Plus I recently got loaned GTA4 so I'll be playing that a lot for a while.

I don't have a PS3, and have no plans on getting one. My finances are capped right now.

I have them all. I don't play them anymore, though. It's usually my brother who plays the PS3 and 360. There just isn't that one game to pull me away from my computer--not yet.

*waits for Final Fantasy XIII

360 and Wii for me, I don't do nearly as much console gaming as I did when I was younger these days but my 360 still gets pretty consistent use, if for no other reason than over the last three years NHL 07/08/09 has probably gotten more playtime from me than any other console franchise. I've thrown in some other nice games over time like Lost Odyssey, and with Mirror's Edge and Fable 2 coming up shortly(very shortly in the latter's case) and FF13 on the horizon I'm pretty pleased with the system as a whole.

I haven't really gotten as much use out of my Wii as I expected to since the only time I really whip it out is when I have company over. It does a great job of entertaining rooms that typically would be tough to hook with video games, since even the technologically inept do pretty well at it which is nice for keeping the playing field a little more even. I haven't really been wowed by any games other than Smash Bros which is a little disappointingly but it does what it does, I suppose.

I really wish PS3 was cheaper because it's depriving me of MGS4, but it's still way too expensive to justify getting for one game, unfortunately.

I own a Wii and 360. I don't play on either too often, as my grandparents are on the Wii bowling, and the 360 is hooked up to the same TV. I really want to get the PS3 for Disgaea 3, Uncharted, MGS4 and a few other games, but I don't have the money for it just yet.

I own 360 and Wii. The Wii disappoints me but the 360 is still greatness.

I don't know, its just in my opinion none of the Wii games so far have any zazz if ya know what im saying. It's seems like everything on the 360 is par and above, with birdies occurring frequently.

Speaking of the 360, can anyone tell me how Dead space is? When i looked at it I thought of Mass Effect/Resident evil Mix with a splash of Doom.

And another thing, that Call of Duty 5 looks pretty neat. Improved graphics and more perks, weapons are still gonna be a big surprise to me.

I have a 360 and a Wii.

I play my my 360 a lot more (especially Halo 3), but I really only play the Wii for a little while after a new game comes out.

I have a wii, but I don't know why, looking back, I'd probably have rather gotten a 360 :'(

Getting a 360 and then a PS3 though (but I'll probably take a break in between getting them to buy other useless shit like silly t-shirts and action figures...)

Ugh I own every next gen console... Couldn't you like add that option aswell?

Xbox360 was bought by accident really we weren't trying to buy it but our local gamestore had one reserved for a guy who just didn't show up... We took it with us (us being my dad and I...)

Wii - bought on releasedate aswell.
PS3 - Sadly bought on releasedate atleast it has a 80GB hard drive.

I just got a PS3 two days ago. I am utterly addicted - my laptop is almost completely obsolete since I can go on the internet from the PS3. Oh, and Assassin's Creed is such a good game... =)

Could mean that the PS3 is built like a tank and has a lot more features than the 360 and Wii, not to mention it doesn't have the 360's godawful hardware failure rate. The falcon chips have done barely anything, I still see so many returns at the Best Buy I work at.

Currently playing Wii and PS3 for an equal amount. Yeah, Wii's lack of good games is disappointing for the moment, but I'm holding out because it will most certainly get better, with stuff like Monster Hunter and No More Heroes 2.

PS3 is getting a lot of play because of the MGS franchise, and I'm also on a Warhawk binge. I never thought that such an impulse buy would provide me such amusement. Definitely a good buy at its current $29.99 price.

Windows Vista with a Quad-core paired up with an nVIDIA 8800 for me, kicks ass and plays games nicely and smoothly.

I suck with controllers =\

Laser Mouse ftw.

I've got a 360. I haven't played a PS3, but I'd definitely take Xbox over Wii in terms of game selection.

There is an option. You check all of them.

Yes, he already clarified so no reason to come to the PS3's rescue ;) I just found it paradoxical to say PS3 was the best and then say that it lacks games right after. I think of a system by the games, not the hardware.

Do you check the returns btw? Or what date they were manufactured? The stats on GAF users show that only 16 Falcon units have died in the last year as opposed to hundreds of Zephyrs (including mine).

I own a 360 and a Wii.

Halo 3 and Fifa 09 are great fun, but my 360 seems prone to fail every two weeks or so. I just unplug it then plug everything back in - that fixed my RROD problem that I had straight after I bought the console. 360's are faulty, but they're just insane. Plus they have the strongest selection of games.

Wii = fun. Enough said.

PS3 is cheaper than the Xbox 360 is if you play online (aka buy Xbox Live). That's an important point that a lot of people forget.
