lots of crazy playoff shit next week :) mostly in the nfc. chargers/broncos should be interesting, i can't believe the chargers are even in this position right now.

steelers can beat the titans if they keep from making stupid errors, like giving the titans 4 extra points for a dumb penalty. and fumbling at the goal line, losing 3 points. the big problem is protecting big ben and getting the run game going. when the fuck is tomlin going to accept that moore > parker?

cardinals are a joke btw, even more of a beneficiary of a bad division than the broncos are.

I think if the Steelers and Titans meet again in the playoffs it will be bloody. The Titans stomping the terrible towel after the game was very unsportsmanlike and disrespectful, and I think calls for a fine. That kind of trash is simply uncalled for. But yeah, if Ben can hold onto the ball we'll win. Personally I'd just sit him altogether against Cleveland and play Leftwich. 2 weeks to rest up will help alot I'm sure. Plus it gives Leftwich a chance to show his skill and possibly make a bid for the starting job if Ben continues to mess up.

At least I whine about things that actually affect the outcome of a game. Titans owned the Steelers without Haynesworth, it's going to be no contest with the big man healthy.

Let's not forget the Lions! Packers better not give THIS one up...

oh god

the lions are going to fail so hard...i feel bad for rod marinelli. jesus.

lol at fine for stomping the terrible towel. i'm glad white did it. should give the steelers something to feed on. (:

uggggh broncos :(((
I'm worried as hell. The Chargers have been waiting for this for months. They seem like a team that just feasts on revenge. Still, I'm rooting for the Broncos because Rivers is a douche.

Dolfan here going on the 2008 bandwagon. Chaddie P will tear the Jets a new one and make them regret kicking him off the curve for Favre. As for Favre, he is now turning into a poor-man's Pennington along with the risk-taking decisions he has up his sleeve. Favre goes down to Joey Porter.

Falcons for the NFC South title, the Bears winning the NFC North, and Eagles sneaking up the last playoff spot! Here's hoping Gruden chokes against his former team.

Edit: oops typos.

NFC South. Not AFC <.<"

OMG no love for the lions...good because they suck.

I'm with the ATL Falcons as always. They are so explosive at home but on the road they have done just enough to get by. Nice to see them going to the playoffs again this year after last year's distaster. If only they had Warrick Dunn>Norwood.

I also like the Chargers but I don't count on them making it far in the playoffs.

To be honest, now I actually kind of want the Lions to win a game
The REAL Lions fans are begging and pleading to the Owner to blow up the organization because they know they'll be the first 0-16 team ever
I mean, the Packers should take note of this. What do they have to lose, anyway?

I'd rather see the Lions lose. Rodgers has been getting a lot of shit for the Packers falling so far from 13-3, and I'm sure even if he plays a perfect game if Green Bay loses he'd be blamed for it.

Eh, it's still Rodger's first year though, I'm personally surprised they had as much (early) success as they did.

And either way, GB > Lions

I don't think it would be the same game if the Steelers and Titans played again. All the analysts talk about how the Steelers allowed their opponent to gain 300+ yards for the first time all season, but it was only 328. That's ok, but not spectacular by any means, and still a well played game defensively. What beat the Steelers was the turnovers. And no, I'm not trying to blame anyone else or whine about things that don't matter. You simply can't turn the ball over, you have to protect the ball. The Steelers did not, and therefore deserved to lose that game. However, if they play again, I know it will be a different story, and I think it would be a very close game.

Hmm I take the Saints over the Panthers. It's the NFC south...what can you do?

I take the Falcons over the rams since the rams suck.

Then that means the Falcons are the Number 2 seed in the NFC which means you have Falcons vs. Panthers with the Falcons winning in a very close came.

I then take the Giants over the Falcons to go to the superbowl only to be beaten by Tennesee.

If your talking about the playoffs, The saints and the rams have been eliminated.

Patriots won't make the playoffs because the Ravens are going to beat the Jaguars this week negating the Patriots chances in making the playoffs.
