pinsir.png

Pokemon #1: Pinsir, the Stagbeetle Pokemon.
Nickname: PimpMeSir!
Held Item: Choice Scarf.
Trait: Mold Breaker.
Nature: Jolly. (+Spd, -SpAtk.)
EVs: 4HP / 252Atk / 252Spd.
- Close Combat.
- Earthquake.
- Stone Edge. / Stealth Rock.
- X-Scissor.

About Pinsir:
He's my lead for this team. Capable of crippling other leads with the help of Mold Breaker.

Pinsir's Moves:
Close Combat - Great move to take out Aggron, Mawile, and possibly Registeel.
Earthquake: - Another great move for Lanturn.
Stone Edge: - Great counter move for Mantine, and Butterfree - plus a little crit hax wouldn't hurt lol (j/k)
X-Scissor: - STAB move and it take a huge chunk of Mesprit's and Uxie's energy.

Pinsir as a Team Player: Pinsir is Umbreon's worst nightmare. He's one of my favorite leads in UU (second only to my all-time fave Ambipom) :p

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

nidoqueen.png

Pokemon #2: Nidoqueen, the Drill Pokemon.
Nickname: Ravenous.
Held Item: Black Sludge.
Trait: Poison Point.
Nature: Bold. (+Def, -Atk.)
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpAtk.
- Toxic Spikes.
- Ice Beam.
- Fire Blast.
- Roar.

About Nidoqueen: She's gonna be my phazer / spiker. It's capable of taking hits from Staraptor, Pinsir, and Blaziken - plus, it's a great combo with Missy. And with the Black Sludge, it'll counter Trick user like Claydol, Grumpig, and Gardevoir.

Nidoqueen's Moves:
Toxic Spikes: - Great set up against the opposing team - especially against Clefable - predictable, but great, nevertheless. If it's facing something like Forretress or Claydol, I can switch in Missy to prevent Rapid Spin.
Ice Beam: - Counter move against Staraptor, Dodrio, and possibly Jumpluff.
Fire Blast: - For Mawile, Magneton, and Sceptile.
Roar: - Forcefully to have you switch in another Poke.

Nidoqueen as a Team Player: It's worth the while. It's pretty bulky against CC, and tough, too.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

milotic.png

Pokemon #3: Milotic, the Tender Pokemon.
Nickname: Erin II.
Held Item: Leftovers.
Trait: Marvel Scale.
Nature: Calm (+SpDef, -Spe.)
EVs: 240HP / 116SpAtk / 152Def.
- Toxic.
- Surf.
- Ice Beam.
- Recover.

About Milotic: This is gonna be my absorber. Its SpDef EVs will be great against Lanturn - plus Sticky Hold against Trick.

Milly's Moves:
Toxic: - Against Mantine, Politoed, and Spiritomb, this is the move for it.
Surf: - STAB move for Milly. Enough to take out Charizard, Blaziken, and possibly Regirock.
Ice Beam: - Counter move for Nidoqueen, Staraptor, and Onix.
Recover: This is a great move for Gassy. Enough HP to stay alive for at least one more round.

Milly as a Team Player: This is one of my most surprise Poke's in this team. Beware!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

mismagius.png

Pokemon #4: Mismagius, the Magical Pokemon.
Nickname: Margaret.
Held Item: Leftovers.
Trait: Levitate.
Nature: Timid. (+Spe, -Atk.)
EVs: 104HP, 172SpAtk, 232Spe.
- Calm Mind.
- Shadow Ball.
- Hidden Power: Fighting.
- Substitute.

About Mismagius: She's gonna be my Special sweeper. Perfect for Clefable, Miltank, and Dusclops.

Missy's Moves:
Calm Mind: - To set up. The only problem I have to worry about is Roar.
Shadow Ball: STAB Move. It has enough EV's to ko weakened Poke's
Thunderbolt: - I need an Electric-type move so this will be it.
Substitute: This move is great for cover. Another part of a set-up sweeper such as her.

Missy as a Team Player: She's here for two things: clean up for the team; and/or possibly, sweep.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

hitmontop.png

Pokemon #5: Hitmontop, the Handstand Pokemon.
Nickname: Kekkaishi.
Held Item: Life Orb.
Trait: Technician.
Nature: Adamant. (+Atk, -SpAtk.)
EV's: 120HP / 252Atk / 136Spe.
- Fake Out.
- Close Combat.
- Bullet Punch.
- Aerial Ace.

About Top: He's gonna be my physical sweeper for this team.

Fake Out: - To ruin opposing Poke's with the Sash or to take out at their weakest.
Close Combat: - STAB move. It'll take a chunk out of Umby's HP.
Bullet Punch: - First-priority move that I can use against weakened Psychic- and Ghost-types. Aerial Ace: - This is a great move to ko Pinsir, Hitmonchan, and Medicham.

Hitmontop as a Team Player: If Missy can't do it, maybe Hitmontop can lol.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

houndoom.png

Pokemon #6: Houndoom, the Dark Pokemon.
Nickname: Mike Vick.
Held Item: Choice .
Trait: Flash Fire.
Nature: Timid. (+Spd, -Atk.)
EV's: 4HP / 252SpAtk / 252Spe.
- Nasty Plot.
- Flamethrower.
- Hidden Power: Fighting.
- Substitute.

About Ninetales: My last resort. He's gonna finish the other team off.

Houndoom' Moves:
Nasty Plot - These moves are perfect for it: NPlot perhaps as a bluff as well as to power up.
Flamethrower: - STAB Move for Sceptile, Jumpluff, and possibly Meganium.
Hidden Power: Fighting: - For Clefable, and Chansey.
DPulse: - STAB Move. To take out Missy.

Houndoom as a Team Player: With Flash Fire to absorb Clefable's Flamethrower, for example, as other Fire-type attacks, it'll keep it safe as well as for my opponent to switch tactics.

Hmm...its at least pretty origional for the new UU.

Pinsir looks good, no issues there.

Nidoqueen, you should consider just using EQ over those two Satks, you need Max defense in this metagame. You should add SR as well, so many pokemon get hit hard by it in this metagame.

Gastrodon should be replaced by Milotic. It is outclassed, and can use the same moves minus Earthquake, which wont hurt much anyway. Standard Milotic would help you stop certain pokemon as well as Gastrodon doesnt wall enough in this metagame.

Missy is good.

Cool points for using scyther, but you just will have alot of trouble with him, especially with the HEAVY use of SR in this metagame, as well as the walls not dying easily. Especially to that coverage being walled by steels.
You already use pinsir, try to use Gallade/Blaziken/Feraligatr intead.

Ninetails is outlcassed by houndoom, you may want to use him instead.

Overall its an ok team, i can tell its sort of untested. But if you make these changes it should function fine.

Mhm , you really want milotic / a other bulky water, because azumarill and lomilotic can own your team ;p.

Yeah I should. I'll make the switch over to Milotic later.

Thanks for the pointers. I'll might take out Ninetales for Houndoom later as well.

Give Nidoqueen earth power over fire blast. STAB makes up for the lower power, better pp helps with all the pokes sporting pressure and higher accuracy ensures she won't give up kills 15% of the time. If you want her to wall fire-types, it helps to be able to do something besides roar them away. It also hits the weaker side of steel and rock types, and hits poisions that come in to absorb TS, which you should consider dropping for SR so she only needs one turn of set-up.

Scyther is redundent with Pinsir, who hits harder when it really counts and takes less damage from SR. Ninetails is also inferior to other UU mons, namely Houndoom. You might want to keep Gastro to deal with Raikou, something Milo and Slowbro have a much harder time doing, though he does have problems with Milo and Azu that you need to address. Your best bet is to drop Gastro for Milo or one of the Slows, and grab Camrupt to deal with Raikou and add some mixed offense though he doesn't mesh all that well with Houndoom.

There are a few things that have been said, that I need to refute by expressing my own opinion. Firstly, Milotic doesn't completely outclass Gastrodon, as Gastrodon has the handy electric and rock resistances, which help Gastrodon distinguish itself by being able to switch into Magmortar, as well as Manectric. However, if you aren't using Gastrodon for these things, then by all means use Milotic.

Another thing, Houndoom is not "better" than Ninetales by any means. Ninetales has higher speed, and special defense, which means Blastoise won't OHKO with Surf, unlike Houndoom. Dark/Fire is nice coverage, but fire/grass is arguably better in UU, where anything resists water takes massive damage from grass, except Mantine, who walls both of them anyways, while not being able to KO Ninetales.

Milotic doesnt have the rock/electric resistances, but it still is TONS more bulky than Gastrodon, as well as its 4x weak to Grass, which is FAR more common than Electric in UU. And Milotic can become even more bulky with its ability. It also hits harder with its Stab Surfs. There is pretty much one electric used in UU anyway. So yes, Milotic outclasses Gastrodon.

Houndoom is better than Ninetails at nearly all times. Firsly, Houndoom can actually do damage without Nasty Plot with its great Satk, moreso after it does, it OHKOS near everything, minus Chansey in the UU metagame. Houndoom also boasts 2 Stabs, which is an awesome point, especially for the new UU. Ninetails low Satk stat really makes its speed less meaningful.

There are 3 SR weaks, one of which is 4x weak. Scyther is really going to have a hard time sweeping with SR and LO recoil.

You could stick Stealth Rock on Pinsir, possibly over CC, take off the Scarf, make it Jolly and give it a Sash.

Also, I agree with most people here, as much as I love Scyther AND Pinsir, using them together is redundant... believe me, I've tried. Unless you make Scyther a Baton Passer or something. Swellow may be a good replacement here.

Regardless if Ninetales stays or is switched to Houndoom, Substitute should be taken out. You said you are using him as a Late Game Sweeper, so Substitute isnt as necessary. HP Rock is an option as you can take out opposing Houndooms or Ninetales that would other wise wall you.

I'd say remove Scizor. It's not serving any purpose that Pinsir couldn't, even though you're using it to Swords Dance. As said before, using them together is fairly redundant. Dunno what you'd want to use instead though :/

And onto Ninetales, the only reason you should be using it over Houndoom (besides the higher speed) is Hypnosis. Run Hypnosis over Substitute, definitely.

Hope I helped.

I've taken out Ninetales for Doom. I'll also take out sub for DPulse.
Thanks for the help.
