An animated battle for you!

Yet again, victory is yours.

I'm going to hold off on requests for now. I could get around to the animated avatars in the future, but for now I'm focusing on other projects.
Oops sorry I kinda missed this post. If you do ever get the time to do a suicune, let me know. ^.^ And the Azelf+Scizor animation is awesome!

Thanks for the comments, Mr_Goodbar. That's an interesting challenge of a request, considering I even have trouble packing the regular animated Pokemon avatars under the 30kb size requirement.
I'll give it a try just to see if I can do it.

Impressive, as usual, you really are a genuine artist, may I ask you if you already work in the magazine field? (If not you must)

It's true, I've been neglecting my commitment to finishing up the trainer list. I would like to try to get one or two done in the following week before I am unable to do any at all for the next month.

I never really considered doing illustrations for magazines. It seems like a tough business to break into and there are a lot of professionals with way more talent and experience than me. I am on a couple of animation jobs at the moment though, neither which I'll be able to talk about til the spring or summer; nothing fancy, but it's good fun.

O-oh..you meant that one! Well, I went and optimized this one, sans Easter egg in case anyone wants it.

Also, usually when I'm working on the computer and I get a phone call, I'll start doodling in Flash. Today I doodled a couple of fakemon to throw onto the pile including a prototype Camerupt evo that I never got the chance to develop.

on my modest opinion you should try, I think you can do it, but, of course you have to feel it, like anything else, it must come from within

Wow, Cartons, these animations are very energetic!

Do you mind if I make a request? No, not for a picture or an animation, but for some helpful tips, or perhaps a small tutorial. I, personally, am interested in animating, but I haven't the slightest idea how to go about doing it.

What program do you use? How do you make animations in it? How long have you been animating?

This is the program I used for animating most of what's in this thread.

As for the technique itself, I'm not sure what immediate tips I could give without the context of having something to critique. There are a lot of books out there (and probably websites) that could get you started on the basics, but it's also important to just play around with the action and timing yourself.
What I've always found helpful was watching examples of animation you like frame by frame. You could do this with tapes or dvds and I believe Windows Media Player Classic has a function where you can watch a video by scrolling frame by frame with the arrow keys.

It, uh..also helps to be a little obsessive about it. Most of my friends, who are otherwise really talented artists, can't stand animating --

I normally wouldnt make requests, but there seems to be a lack of two of my favourite pokemon among your animated avatars. So, I'm requesting one of Houndoom, and one of Feraligatr.

Thanks in advance.

Can I get an animated battle like the ones on the front?

If so I would like Garchomp vs. Salamence with Garchomp being the victor.

Those are really sick! I wonder how you did them. I especially liked how Espeon's leech seed bursted into a tree.

But mvp has to be the Infernape/Ursaring. Truely brilliant!!

When you get around to the massive amount of request already piling up, could I please have a Haunter animation? Thanks.

I don't know if your taking requests, but if you are, any kind of avatar displaying Wobbuffet's Godly power to set up other pokemon would be awesome.
