Not by a longshot; it's more of a benefactor than the ideal thing to set it up. With a base speed of 85, and weakness to Weavile's Ice Shard (a priority move off of its physical stat) and Choice Scarf Typhlosion's Eruption, don't be surprised if it's the first Pokemon of the match to be KOed.
 
Ok, in Smeargle Studio, why is it that most images I see there have a message saying "this photo has been deleted or moved" ? Is it my browser, or...

How much SpA EVs ( doesnt matter if I use a -nature or not though ) do I need to OHKO Forretress or Skarmory ( i am not used to these dmg calculators, sry )

It really depends by what set, nature and item you're using. A neutral natured latios with life orb and hp fire is always ohko'ing forretress and always 2hko'ing skarmory even with no sp. attack evs.

So, to clear it, LO Latios with Thunderbolt (-nature) as u already answered HP Fire one.

A -s.atk latios with life orb will always 2hko skarmory (81.14% - 95.51%) even with no s.atk evs. 252hp\ 0 sp.df Forretress takes 40.11% - 47.18% from thunderbolt, note that this is with 252 sp. atk evs and a negative nature. With a life orb, 220 sp. atk evs and negative nature you're doing 50.85% - 59.89% to the same forretress, so a near sure 2hko.

Edit: I didn't factor stealth rock damage into calculations.

If you're using HP fire,
252hp/4spdef neutral nature forretress would need at least 80 EVs for a timid latias.
252hp/4spdef neutral nature Skarmory will not be OHKOed by latias, even if you use max sp att and life orb, unless you have +1 (use CM).

Has anybody else noticed that the "WiFi Trade/Battle Center" link on the smogon homepage is broken? It leads to www.smogon.com/wifi/, but the page that comes up is the general "Oh no! The page doesn't exist! Would you like to Google it instead?" error message.

Has this link ever worked before? I realize we have the WiFi forums, but I don't think it's such a good idea to have such broken links on the homepage.
 
@ Magic Master: It's a separate system that chaos had/has/is working on. It's supposed to be like a shopping system, except for pokemon trades. It's also intended to replace the Wifi forums, so it's not possible to 'fix' it yet lol.

We have two threads regarding double battles. :P Will Smogon ever establish official tiering and shiz? That remains to be seen. I hear someone called Numbah is working on a double battle mod for ShoddyBattle if that interests you!

A double battle metagame could be created some day but there isn't one now. As for Double Battles on Shoddy currently there are none but Numbuh is working on it.

Yes it does interest me. You see, I am working (with working I mean thinking... a lot) on creating a competitive double battle metagame, all by myself at the moment (haha but since I don't wanna pay and am too lazy to learn how to make an own forum I'm just gonna get a free forum so no one is ever gonna take me seriously XD). I sure could need some help though :/

I'm looking forward to that double battle mod on Shoddy!

That's cool. I'm currently learning Java and I thought I could help set up a Double Battle server for people interested in practicing for the Video Game Showdown. I haven't gotten very far (read: practically nonexistent lol) with the coding, though, and I don't know how far Numbah has progressed yet.
 
If I used a mixed attacker Rapidash, Support Cherrim, and Wall Cresselia, then what should be my either fast or bulky sunny day set upper?

If Cherrim won't do as the lighter, then who will?
 
Does anyone know if there's a way to calculate your Secret ID in Emerald using only your ID and Name? Meaning, no Pal Parking then using Pokesav, or using an AR or whatnot?

Just posting this here so more people see this question, since more than I want this answered.
