Even Blissey needs investment to go "lol specs." Bold gives your defense a whole 11 points too, which is relatively meh, especially at the cost of risking a special attack breaking THE special wall.

I knew that, but the standard used to be Bold. At least back on marriland, serebii and gamefqs, every Blissey was bold. Has the standard on Smogon always been Calm?

If you get a good poke on Serebii, could you trade it here, as there is no redis laws there? xD, just wondering, I've gotten so many shinies.

It's troublesome. Most people will not accept them without a verifiable hack check, or at least a legality check. And you will have to say that you got them from Serebii.

I feel the need to emphasize the need for hack checks. Many pokemon off websites like pokecommunity, serebii, and marilland are hacked. That's not to say Smogon doesn't have its hacks, but those other places are cesspools in comparison. Just remember, hack checks are not infallible.

The standard has been Calm ever since Platinum iirc.

does hatching ur eggs in diff locations matter?
No, it's just to make it seem cooler. For example, a Weavile hatched in Galactic HQ sounds cooler than one hatched at Solaceon Town.

It was funnier in Advance, where you could hatch Charmanders "Underwater".

Sounds about right well actually probably when Obi's stall team got posted which was before Platinum I'm sure a lot of people copied that maybe before too I don't know, calm has always been the standard for Ubers too.

So I'm playing Platinum and I finished the main story and all and got the National Dex.

After that, I go into pastoria, and I peek into that billboard and suddenly a croagunk just comes running and goes to the great marsh. What was that about?

Anyone know where I can look to see the IV ranges for the Platinum IV guy? Like what he means when he says different things?

I have a simple question that I haven't been able to figure out. For a Sp. ATK Lucario, why not Dark Pulse over Shadow Ball? The coverage is the same for both attacks except Dark Pulse hits fighting at 1/2, but then again, Shadow Ball won't hit normal Poke'mon. So yeah, besides that, Dark Pulse flinches, provided that you go first. Shadow Ball has a 20% chance of lowering Sp. Def one stage, so even if you don't hit first, you'll probably get the effect. Is this why most people choose Shadow Ball over Dark Pulse?

From the analysis:

Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball comes down to the flinch rate versus the Special Defense drop. Dark Pulse is best if you are using a Choice Scarf or Agility set, since the flinch is generally more useful if Lucario can always attack first. Shadow Ball is more useful for the special sets, which will enjoy getting a Special Defense drop on the switch and could not use the flinch against faster opponents anyway.
I believe that it's self-explanatory...

As far as time, level of cheating and etc. Which of the following choices seems like the best for making Pokemon. I'm just starting and wanted to know how I should go about making them.
A. Using Pokesav
B. ARing their IVs, and other small things.
C. Doing the entire thing raw, IV training daily

D. Use Shoddybattle.

Oh. Anyways, people appreciate C, but A is acceptable as long as you stay within the bounds of the game and tell people you use "legal hacks." This applies to battling only, not trading (only C is acceptable there).

Is there a place where I can find the shoddybattle statistics of most used pokémon and most used leads? Shoddy's official site hasn't been updated in a long time and the latest statistics are from last year.
