How do the EV lowering berries work in DP? I've read two different accounts of this on the internet.

1) They lower EVs by 10 each, so if I have...say, 150 EVs, I'd have to use 15 berries to get rid of all of them.

2) If you have more than 100 EVs in any stat, the first berry will lower it to 100, and the rest will -10 EV each. So 11 berries would get rid of all EVs in any stat.

Option 2 is the correct one.

Blizzard, Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond, Signal Beam/Spikes.

2x Stab moves, Bliz has 100% in Hail, D-Bond takes out something, and Spikes is awesome.

I would not suggest using D-bond in hail, your opponent may miss because of snow cloak, and you would have revealed that you carry that move. I would use substitute or hp fight in that slot. Also note that without hp fighting you're completely walled by steel types. For the item go with life orb or leftovers.

edit: so my suggestion is:
froslass@life orb\leftovers
nature: timid
EVs: 252sp.atk\252spd\4hp
-blizzard
-shadow ball
-hidden power fighting\hidden power ground
-thunderbolt\substitute

Should I simply run Blizzard/TB/Shadow Ball/Psychic? Or Spikes/Blizzard/TW/TB or Shadow Ball?

Psychic doesn't add much type coverage (and will hit as hard as a stab blizzard when hitting for SE damage, btw), though if you're using this froslass on wifi, then I see that hidden power may be hard to obtain. The second set you posted isn't "offensive" at all.

Psychic OHKOs Infernape, which resists Blizzard-vbery handy considering it's massive threat to most Ice-types.
Also, ScarfJynx: Blizzard/Shadow Ball/Focus Blast/Psychic or Lovely Kiss? What's more useful-secondery STAB or fast sleep? Again, kills Infernape...

Just so you know: a life orb'd blizzard does 46.60% - 54.76% to the standard naive Infernape (a guaranteed 2hko with hail) while shadow ball does up to 73% to the same infernape (note that shadow ball always 2hko's Infernape even if it's jolly) and you're faster unless ape holds a scarf.

Still give Infernape time to Fire Blast Froslass. Trick is also an option...
Also, Psychic or Lovely Kiss on ScarfJynx?

No, the only chance Infernape has to fire blast froslass is if it's scarfed (and in that case you could not hit it with psychic anyway, unless you predict a switch in). Froslass is faster than Infernape (110>108).

I know; but what if Infernape is in full health?
Icy Wind is also viable to cripple, as well as Trick.
Again, Psychic or Lovely Kiss on Jynx?

Hi , what happens to kecleon when sandstorm is in effect. He has ability color change, i wanted to use him in sandstorm/trick room team but i'm unsure what type he will start/end round in. For example he switches in with sandstorm is in play so i guessing he changes into rock type? but he is then hit and lives after a fighting move attack so changes into a fighting type -does he then go back into rock type when sandstorm starts next round of attacks. Thanks to anyone who can clear this up

When a Pokémon with this ability is hit by a damaging move, its type will change to the type of that move.

Weather conditions don't affect the type change. So, in your example, Kecleon will change to the rock type only when hit by a rock attack.

I am currently part of a forum who is hosting a 3v3 frontier. For my team I was thinking of trying a trap team. Using Umbreon as my lead and trapping then passing to the apropriate sweeper. My questions are;

1) What move should I run for my final slot on Umbreon after Mean Look, Baton Pass and Wish.

2) What 2 sweepers should I use that outrun most pokemon and have good offensive coverage. I was thinking of Latias and Infernape.

Thanks

Can Wailord and Milotic work in an OU Hail team? I need them to counter Fire-types, notably Heatran.
Also, EVs for Milotic? 184HP/252Def/110SpA Bold? I belive I'll need some SpD...

Is stall viable in Ubers?

Not really. It _can_ work, but you basically have to (1) hope your opponent doesn't use some strange nonstandard set and (2) predict perfectly all the time. I've tried Uber stall and have never been successful with it.

The basic Uber stall team is Groudon / Forretress / Giratina / Blissey / Latias / Lugia. If you're going to try stall, start from there.
