Cyzir, that picture is tight. I'm not sure about that tail though, it just looks like another hand. Or is it supposed to be a hand? I can't really tell.
 
That reminds me of the Kirby show, that looks like a Kirby-style Villian. No wonder you and dijin *points to avatars* like it so much.

I also find it quite nice and creative, a 3-headed dragon! That looks like a perfect "Cloud Nine" ability candidate as well.
 
Cyzir, You got the head and body colors perfectly. I don't really know about the clouds though, but the thundery feel is welcoming. I like the blue and yellow a lot.

Wow, Cyzir that's awesome. The hand in the air looks cool, but I think it's confusing for some people.My favourite part is how you gave the claws, tail, and eyebrows that blue glow, great work. I think you should try a different pose with it though, but I'm also really looking forward to all those other designs. You have your work cut out for you buddy. :)
 
That looks epic, Cyzir. The only thing I have to say is that I think that the old tail design looked better, as it was a lot less obtrusive, and just allowed the eye to flow over it.
 
Cyzir yours is fantastic, but maybe a suggestion you can choose whether to take into consideration or not - I think it'd be interesting to see it having more of an actual body rather than just being composed of clouds and electricity, while still retaining that quality. Definitely a front-runner though, your stuff usually is...

I'm pretty new here (well completely new but...) and i came up with this i was wanting some feed back on how I could make it more dragonish. well here goes...

I've lurked on these forums for many CAP projects, but now that I've got an account I would like to start chipping in my opinions. Cartoons and Sanglunaria are the two that I'm rooting for, they both have great artwork and solidly fit the Electric/Dragon typing. I'd say that Sanglunaria's fits the look of a Pokemon better, but Cartoons' is too awesome to resist.

I'd say that this CAP has had more great submissions than any other, so congratulations to all the artists!
 
Just to clarify on my hydra image, it is NOT a final submission type piece. It was a a drawing focused primarily on the coloring, done just to get a feel of the colors. And I suppose it did that quite well. I haven't changed anything on the design either, so no worries about that.
 
Alright, I've colored my CaP a few times, not too well I may add, so here they are. If you guys have any suggestions as to how to make the colors better, please tell me.

Again, I'm sorry that I cant color too well, I hope that this gives you an idea as to what you can expect for this art submission. The last one is my favorite, but I'm not sure how you guys feel about they gray...
 
@ Fenix: They look sick. Could you give me a copy so I can try a color scheme of my own or help you with yours....there are few changes that I think they could use. They are the best of the best though.......nice work

Im just trying to stick with different shades of blues for the body ect. and yellow for the lightning accents. Hope you like it.

I recently found out that the big image hosting sites usually only enforce the larger of the image dimensions for their standard upload formats. That meanss, effectively, that when you upload "800x600" on ImageShack, for example, that it really enforces 800 pixels ON EITHER AXIS. So effectively it is an 800x800 limit. For that reason, we will allow any submission, as long as it does not exceed 800 pixels on any side -- basically changing the max size limit to 800X800. This is the limit that I have been enforcing all along, too. I will update the OP accordingly.

KOA, if you want to post a bigger final submission, then feel free. Since your post is taller than it is wide, the 800x600 limit was constraining you more than other designs which were wider than they were tall.
 
I was completely ignored last time! :'(

So I figured you guys have high standards and won't look at mere measly pencil drawing sketches (or don't remember me from last CAP :'( ). So I redesigned, pokemonified, and colored it, hopefully this gets some attention now ^^. Though I'm torn about the color scheme. Also, I would *really* like some criticism with this one, I feel it needs to be made better, so I would really like some. I have decided not to start shading until I got a color scheme and some changes (from your criticisms of course) out, so please don't factor that into your decisions.

This concept is based off of electrons, which gives it the electric feel. The electrons orbit around the rings that guard the Pokemon from damage, thus making it more defensive to make it match the style bias.

It's more of a peaceful, cute pokemon that doesn't disturb anyone or anything. I didn't want to make a huge, scary monster thing with three heads that destroy everything in it's path, only a harmless little draco.

I wasn't getting any attention to my design, but whatever.

I love this! It's just so cute! Unlike other cuties, however, you can easily envisage this "harmless little draco" blasting opponents with atomic power - in self defence of course.

Side note - it might be better to change all the "+/-" body markings into "+", inline with the standard model of the atom. A detail, but for something already so perfect...
