Seconding whoever said that we should leave the Japanese out of this one. Anything with "rai" or "ryu" in it won't be getting my vote.
Tesladon, Teslacoatl and Ohmega stand out to me so far.
This seems unnecessarily limiting. Aside from the fact that using "Rai" has precedent in Pokemon names (Raichu, Raikou), not voting for something just because it has something Japanese in it is rather petty. I can understand if it's just pasted on there, like Ryuvolt or Jormunrai, but if it's well-integrated into the name, like Ryo-Savart or Raitan, I don't see why it should be dismissed out of hand solely because its creator happened to use a well-known Japanese word.
Which reminds me. To whoever submitted Raitan, I rather like that name. It would be very fitting for Cartoons! design.
Lastly, I'm confused by the support for Tesladon. The -don suffix means "tooth", and has nothing inherently to do with large reptiles. The most obvious example of this is Smilodon. So, unless this thing's teeth feature prominently, I don't see how the name really works. If you want Tesla to be involved, Teslacoatl is really a better choice.
