What are the parents you're using to breed? Take a look at the breeding guide if you didn't. Also, sorry, but the stats you provided are quite incomprehensible.

I'm quite sure they can't determine the legitimacy of the pokemon itself if you just hacked the item or the event. Though I believe they can detect if you used some sort of external device on your cartridge.

So if I were to use AR they would know it, but if I were to trade my pokemon to an another cart it would work?

Yes, correct. I'm not sure if they can detect the usage of AR codes, but if you're going to participate in an offical Nintendo tournament, then I would suggest you to use the code on a cartridge, and then trade the pokemon to another cartridge just to be safe.

What's a good way to teach Smeargle the desired moves with Sketch? Basically where can I get into a double battle?

I don't see any twins there, perhaps you meant somewhere else?

There are actually two pairs of double battles on the route north of Solaceon, but the twins there get a level 60 Clefable and Raichu, which could get a bit complicated. XD A farmer and his daughter there will have like level 20s Stunky and Glameow.

Woops; the farmers are like that in D/P, in Platinum, they eventually get Ponyta and Rapidash.

Still no response on the Ditto thing.

Are they still available to catch east of Canalave with Pokeradar? I heard it was only in the garden in Platinum.

Ahh okay, I grabbed my Pearl and am trying it out, one Ditto in about 20 minutes still. I suck at this =)

I am standing in the middle of the grass, using PokeRadar, going to the furthest 'different' looking grass, if its not a ditto I am running away, walking 50 steps, then re-using PokeRadar- is this the right method?

That is correct. It helps if you use repels, since they will keep regular pokemon away, but pokemon 'summoned' by the pokeradar arent' affected by it.

below Solaceon there's a couple jogging.

further down there's a pair of twins.

they all have one pokemon between the levels of 17-20.

that's where i get things done. :)

It's been a while since I EV trained, so lets review...

Items such as Carbos give a PKMN 10 Spd EVs, the max you can give is 10 Carbos (100 EVs)
If you kill a PKMN you get 1 EV, but if you have Poke'rus it doubles, right? And then there are those held items that give +4, so 1 from the PKMN, +4 from held item x2 if you have Poke'rus = 10 EVs per PKMN killed, right?

Yeah you got everything right, except not all pokemon give 1 EV. E.g. Luxray gives 3 attack EVs, Gyarados gives 2 attack EVs, Gengar gives 3 special attack EVs, etc. But yes, everything else is correct.

Okay, so after hitting chain 35-38 about 5 times and accidentally moving one spot north after the radar and screwing up my chain the same time 5 times in a row... I have caught quite a bit of Dittos!

Unfortunately I was going for a good Modest ditto, but all of my modest were terrible.

The best one I found looks like this:

22/30/31/29/30/2

Hasty Nature.

Kind of hilarious, that awesome of IVs and then a 3 in a Hasty Nature... Anyways, my question is: should I keep going for a Modest nature Ditto, or should I just breed this Hasty Ditto without an Everstone with another pokemon that has a 31 IV in speed and just keep hatching until I get a Modest, praying it doesn't take forever?

Thanks, sorry for the barrage of questions, this is pretty epic. I should have picked an easier first-baby to try to perfect.

Is there a Spanish version of Pokemon Platinum available? If so, are there still problems with breeding across different-language carts?

Platinum will be relased in Europe on may 22th, so I guess you'll have to wait that date for a Spanish version.

Is it possible to order one shipped to the United States?

Another question - what's the point of "dry Baton Passing?" Why doesn't the user just switch?

1) Yes it would be possible, you just have to find the right sites.

2) Switching takes priority over all moves. Baton Passing does not. So if the other player switches while you dry pass, you get to see what they bring in and then make your decision, putting you at an advantage. It isn't meant for normal switching, it's meant to be used as the other player switches to a counter so that you control the situation.

Just for future reference, there is an edit button on your posts, no need to double post.

Can I drop Protect on Vaporeon and use Aqua Ring? Also Aqua Ring for Milotic. It;s vesy easy to predict Protects and set-up, so it isn't really worth it...
