There's nothing to say thats impossible since FR and LG were remakes and they included new pokemon, albeit only after the Elite Four.
 
Not sure wrecklesswrage. In Japan, they might have something. But in the US release they might not have something. But I'm probably so wrong right now.
 
Hey guys, I was watching Pokemon sunday today, and there was some more footage. hopefully someone puts them up on Youtube, as Keyhole lagged to hell at that part =/

I hope that they don't go the FRLG route with evolutions. I'd love to be able to have a Porygon-Z on my ingame team, rather than having to wait like I did for P2. :( Can't wait for more info! Being able to get Sacred Fire/Aeroblast on the alternate Legendary will be nice, too :x
 
The only reason that D/P/P can trade immediately is because they are both in Sinnoh. If this is like the FR/LG remake, the only way to immediately trade between HGSS will be with another HGSS. Unless HGSS entirely scraps the whole time/region travel stuff, and the problem of how two regions will be able to interact without some type of story behind it.

EDIT: If this isn't clear, I'm talking about the people who want to trade pokemon to their HGSS for in-game party uses.
 
I wonder what the deoxys situation will be. Will it stay in normal form, will it stay in the form it was when traded, or will there be a way to change its form in the game. Or, heaven forbid, new forms.
 
I love Xatu, but it is very outclassed by other Psychics... I hope they give it along with many other Johto Pokemon a good boost! Quagsire to differentiate it from Swampert and Tail GLow to Ampharos please!
 
Quagsire has Water Absorb. That alone makes it worth considering in Ubers. I'm hoping for a Curse and Tail Glow tutor though!
 
This is a remake so don't expect any Hoenn/Sinnoh pokes pre-E4 people, I'm not sure why people think they will be availible. Also don't expect any Gym Leader roster changes, meaning 4th and 3rd gen Evos pre E4.
 
I figure they'll have some Sinnoh evolutions because, for the most part, there aren't many strong Johto Pokemon. The strongest of the bunch are evolutions from the previous generation. There are exceptions, sure, but for a real kickass team, it'd be nice if we weren't limited to underevolved Pokémon.

This is a remake, not like Hoenn or Sinnoh where they could do pratically anything.

Why not have Sinnoh evos? Just being a Remake doesn't cut the Sinnoh evos right out...in fact the only thing to suggest that is Frlg which isn't much of a pattern...it's one game. Nintendo would try and make the game as fun and money making as possible and in my eyes having some extra little things like that help.

I'd like Tail Glow, maybe as Tutor move, as Thorns is hoping.
The starter sprites are great! Really waiting to get my cute little Totodile. <3
 
As someone earlier said, Tail Glow Ampharos would be OU.

And I would love it.

Also, let's all make a collective wish for Extremespeed Dratini and a Curse move tutor.
