Which of these Manaphys would be better for the standard Tail Glow sweeper set?

a) Timid, 28/10/3/20/29/30
b) Timid, 22/20/22/23/16/18

I'm thinking probably [a], since it would take much less Speed EVs to outrun max speed base 90 ubers, but a second opinion would be nice.

Definitely the first one, as the higher speed IVs is more important than the 3 higher SAtk and the 19 higher Def IVs.

Why isnt blissey uber since it can wall 90% of all special sweepers and almost all tanks? that is a large part of the Ou pokes.

Sure it can wall special sweepers, but it can't do much to physical threats. The walls in Uber can wall both physical and special attacks fairly well.

I saw on the first post that Rotom forms are banned. Can someone please explain why they are banned? Thanks
Omg someone that read the first post! :O

They are not banned, rather, you can not use them over Wi-fi without an Action Replay. Idk why that happens, it just does. However, you still can use the forms in link battles.

Does anyone know what the fraction of HP is taken away when a pokemon hits itself in confusion? Or is it some kind of formula? Thanks.

It works on the damage formula. The confused attacker hits itself with a physical base 40 power attack.

I'm running into some problems in Distortion World, when I've pushed all the boulders into the holes I'm supposed to push them into, and go to where Cynthia is supposed to be, she isn't there, but she is already at the bottom of the elevator. When I talk to her, she says "But... That's no justice at all!". I think I haven't talked to Cyrus yet, I've tried to return to the place where Cyrus was but he didn't appear and talk to me about the crappy gene thing. I've saved at the waterfall, right before encountering Azelf. Help? I wanna get out of Distortion World asap.

Does anyone know the details (EVs, Nature, etc.) on the Special Defense Skarmory that people are running on the Suspect ladder right now?

Not having used it, but if I did I would run something like:
Skarmory@Shed Shell(seriously almost every battle I was in had a Magnezone)
252hp/252sp.def/4spd
Careful
Spikes
Roost
Brave Bird
Whirlwind

@Regalstar: Since shoddy simulates the link battle environment, both Secret Power and Nature Power use the building variants, paralyze and tri-attack, respectively.

Bump... Really can't proceed with battling Cyrus and Giratina like this, anyone experienced this before? I'm pretty sure that I need to talk to Cyrus to proceed. Need to finish this asap D:

Apart from Feint and Thunder in the rain, What else can hit though protect/Detect?

Blizzard in Hail (also both Thunder in Rain and Blizzard in Hail have only a 30% chance of hitting through protect)
Additionally, any move with less than 100% accuracy can hit through protect when used by a Pokemon with the ability No Guard or a Pokemon under the effects of Lock On or Mind Reader. Again, the chance of hitting through Protect is equal to 100%-The Normal Accuracy of the move. So Dynamic Punch has a 50% chance of hitting through protect, while Stone Edge has a 20% chance.

In addition to what CardsOfTheHeart says, make sure that the Smeargle faints after using Sketch. This will deny it experience points that would boost it past level 1.

@Tyler422 - After the Smeargle sketches it, you kill it with the other Pokemon you're using in the Double Battle.

Question - is using a lead Gyarados with Rain Dance in the DP Battle Tower a good idea? I've been using a Waterfall/Rain Dance/Earthquake/Ice Fang moveset, and so far it's served me well. I've been using this in combination with a SubPass Jolteon w/ Thunder/Shadow Ball (for special sweeping) and I'm thinking of rounding things off with a Swift Swim Mix Kingdra Ice Beam/Waterfall/Yawn/Outrage for revenge-killing.

Even though it makes no sense at all, I remember something about Counter being able to hit after a Hidden Power, is this still/was this ever the case?
