would this work as a dark void smeargle? dark void/ endeavor/ trick room/ explosion? it would probably go in after someone died only if a trick room came up, other wise it would be a last resort type thing. the plan is to first have it with 0 speed ivs a speed reducing nature so when it came in it would dark void them to sleep, then undo trick room. then endeavor/explode if its still alive. if its still some how alive i would explode doing hardly anything.

Bluntly? No. It'll be level one, so the explosion would do less than nothing. Probably wouldn't even do more than leftovers on anything more sturdy than a luvdisc. (which is everything)
Go with protect in that last spot if you ask me. :) If you predict a sleep move/fake out or something along those lines, it's better to be safe than sorry.

What do you mean by breed normally?

If you're asking if they can breed with Pokémon other than fellow fossils, then yes.
 
Can Ditto pass egg moves in Platinum? I only ask because I see a lot of people using Dittos as one of the main parents now and yet their final products have egg moves.

Egg moves are passed if the male knows it. Even if a female knows it and the male doesn't, they won't be passed. As long as the male breeding with Ditto has an egg move, it will be passed. It's been like this for a while.
 
Which of these Manaphys would be better for the standard Tail Glow sweeper set?

a) Timid, 28/10/3/20/29/30
b) Timid, 22/20/22/23/16/18

I'm thinking probably [a], since it would take much less Speed EVs to outrun max speed base 90 ubers, but a second opinion would be nice.

Also, I have a great Shaymin, but has a crappy Hidden Power (Ghost). For the standard sweeper (Sky forme), would my best bet for the 4th move be Psychic or Ominous Wind (or something else entirely)? I'm thinking Ominous Wind since whatever move I use in that slot will most likely just be used as a finisher, where the effect of Ominous Wind could be quite helpful, and Psychic's 20% chance of SpD drop obviously pales in comparison to the 80% chance of SpD drop of Seed Flare... not to mention the superiority of the Ghost-type over the Psychic-type in the uber metagame.
 
In the Master Rank contest, it seems that for the Visual contest, no matter what I do, everyone else gets seven to ten hearts while I only get three, even with every High Scoring item I can throw at them. Is this just the computer getting an unfair advantage? =\
