Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Unfortunately, natures generated by wondercard methods are still random (well, as random as a computer can generate anyway). I believe Mingot told me that this actually works like the old RNG, where it was always running all the time. Don't take my word for it though, as I'm not an expert on these matters.
 
i'm trying to hatch a flawless gible I want to know That when I fly to catch a pokemon on route 226 by the resort does my frame increase? I have the game saved on the filp coin poketech app.
 
No your frame for eggs only advances when NPCs move, you flip your journal, double tap the happiness app, or do coin flips pretty much. Walking around only advances the wild RNG.

EDIT: This only applies if you just want Shiny/right nature. If you want perfect IVs, then collect your egg immediately as all those things will affect the IVs.
 
Thanks for the swift reply, I think I do pass by some moving npcs. If the npcs them selves just turn but not take a step does the frame advance?

So how will I check my seed after I collect the eggg?

Since mingot isn't here at the moment maybe someone else can help me. Is your PID required for wondercard abuse?

PID is what creates the pokemon's nature and ability. So you really don't need it for wondercard pokes since they are random.

I was wondering if I could ask you question. I know you haad trouble with the RNG before you got a hang of it so I was thinking that you might best be able to explain this to me.


I'm going for this with a wondercard pokemon.

When inputting the info into seed to time finder I get this.

2009 01 01 Time: 9:00:58 Delay: 634

So what do I do from here? Do I need to simply press continue at 9:00:58 and pick up the pokemon?

If I'm going for a frame 3 spread, and I keep getting frame 5 due to the Journal having a captured Pokemon before I saved it, is there any way to get it back to 3 via wandering randomly?
 
The only way would be to re-save so that the journal doesn't come up, but in that case you'll probably lock yourself into a different frame anyways.
 
Yeah I did resave, but after hitting my delay twice in a row it was frame 5 *sigh*

However after leaving and flying back to Solaceon my frame changed to 4, and the spread I'm after is simply going to have to be 3 due to the randomness of what I want. So I think I'll keep going back there until I get a frame 3 somehow :S

I've never successfully RNG abused for shininess before since I didn't know you couldn't go on WiFi to IV Battle so I need more Rare Candies or an AR D:

I'm stuck breeding the hard way x.x
 
Yeah, slight change now, I'm going for a different nature *wink wink* after finding out the parents I had in the Daycare were not the ones supposed to be there. Needless to say I'm annoyed at myself, but it was only a minor setback, since I know what spread I'm going for!
 
It'll still be the same one you want, but I'll have to wait for the RNG Reporter to give me one first ;) I'll PM you with the update when I get it haha

You know, you could always switch the tab on the Seed Finder to "Find Initial Seed by Stats" and just enter in the stats of a pokemon you caught(Lv. 50+). No rare candies required. :) I've done it and it works.

I keep hitting frame 5 when I need to hit frame 3. But the journal does not have a caught message.

Perhaps I saved at a bad point? The seed is a bad one for the frame?
 
Yeah, sounds like you shouldn't have saved. Try to see if there's one with the date a day before/after when you saved with frame 5. If not, then look for one with 7, so the journal pops up.
