Huy just tried to call me about 15 minutes ago but I was outside helping my dad with something xD I'll try to get in touch with him in a little bit but it looks like sixonesix will be bringing us updates as well.

Anyone got any info on Shoe? Short guy, mid-length brown hair?

Edit: Just texted him, but he probably hasn't got his phone on him or anything. Will report here if I get a reply, but I dunno if I will.

Fuck yeah, Shoe's 2-1. His only loss was to a Japanese guy who kept getting hax. He's beaten Fatum and a Japanese guy.

And ohhh shit next round he's up against Batpig.

Yeah... I got haxed against Honchkrow and MattJ, so I'm 1-2. Maybe I can get in the bottom of the top 8 if I win the rest of the matches, but I doubt it.

ipl tells me Alakapimp is 1-2.

I wouldn't call it slaughtered, as we both had 3 players in the top 8 and 2 players in the top 4 after round 3 (although round 4 is over, but go-pokemon doesn't update right away so I can't give you the stats for round 4). However, we also have double (edit: more than double, I forgot they only have 7 players)the number of competitors so they are doing better than us, but it's not like they're killing us. Also, neither of our 3-0's have played a japanese yet, so one could argue they've had an easier schedule.

Yeah, Shoe got a quadruple full paralysis during his second round which caused him to go 1-1. A lot of hax by the sounds of it.

How many rounds will be played? I heard 5 rounds, which would make the standings look like:

However, if there are more rounds it would make this post moot.

Looks like it's all over that. Congratulations to everyone involved, really.
Except John Michael Freeman.

Hopefully it was a great experience even for those who didn't win prizes. After all, anyone even competing has grounds to brag that they're the xth up to 28th best player in the world. It's a pretty flawed claim, but still. Plus everyone got free stuff.
