On the subject of Ubers, I'm really not that miffed. In fact, I'm already trying to figure out what I'd be using. If Mewtwo is allowed like they say, he's obviously a shoo-in. My current idea is a Dialga/Giratina or Dialga/Lugia lead. If Mewtwo is allowed, resisting Explosion will be most important to me.

Remember that the only (possible) L50 Mewtwos will be 4th gen only, and thus can't have the 3rd gen Selfdestruct tutor.

Oh, it's Selfdestruct and not Explosion? Well then. I guess it kind of shows how little I play Ubers.

Anyway, Dialga/Lugia seems to be a decent choice, since Lugia learns both screens. I think if I restart my Diamond game now and start SRing, I MIGHT have a good Dialga by next year's tournament.

This is in addition to the Sunday stuff as well. It's a shame I guess, however it makes it easier to weed out the weaker players. Not that I did lose to said numbnuts 10-year-old; I lost to UltimateUnknown who won the tournament, but still. And something else: Maybe there won't be the lvl50 limit this time? While it'd make sense with the new lvl50 legends, isn't the idea for little kids to use their favourites? And isn't it obvious that little kids' favourite pokémon will have been trained to lvl100? Everyone including kids will have to get new ubers for the tournament, so this move doesn't make all too much sense if they keep it lvl50.

Yeah, it's definitely still possible for it to be Lv.100. Unless hg/ss adds new wireless "cups", the only way to play uber doubles wirelessly currently is to use No-Restrictions cup, which allows Lv.100 Pokemon. The reason we had to use Lv.50's before was because Double cup enforced all the rules Nintendo wanted to enforce, but required Lv.50's. However, double cup bans the ubers so maybe we won't need to use Lv.50's. Of course, this is all speculation but it's food for thought.

Ha! A funny question for those traveling to Worlds! XD

How much are you packing? I managed to fit 4 complete sets of clothes (that's 4 denim jeans with 2 shirts each and...you know the rest ;D ), toiletries, 2 wiimotes, and 2 GC controlers into 1 small 16X10X9 duffle bag. It looks like it's going to pop, but oh well! XD

Well, my brother just went off to the airport for Worlds :D
He took his Yu-Gi-Oh! decks with him, so if anyone's interested, don't be afraid to ask him for a duel :P He's the one with a black DS lite with a broken hinge, the Giratina VGC sticker, and a little Palkia figure attached to it. Even if you don't play it, say hello anyway :)

Do you mean through mixing records, or with the e-reader? Either way, could you give one to my brother? He lost his when his Sapphire corrupted, a couple of years back... He'd be really happy to get a new one. If you want, I (or he) can trade you a Pokemon; however, I won't have access to Wi-Fi for about two weeks...

And what was an Eon Ticket in the old games? I'm not too famiar with RSE but I just got R the other day.

Eon Ticket is used to unlock lati@s at the island at level 50, the one that isn't the runner.
 
Hey guys, sorry to deviate a little from the current subject, but I have a favor to ask. I posted the nationals round 5 match I saved between me and OmegaDonut on wifi. The video code is 48-51073-94563. Can anyone make a video of this so I can send it to OmegaDonut? My camera is simply not capable of taking a clear video :P. Thanks! To everyone else, feel free to watch this match and laugh as I get my butt handed to me, haha.

PROBLEM WITH THE WII!!

I can't bring my Wii now.

My whiny little sister get's everything she wants, so I simply can not bring mine.. Can anybody else pack theirs?

I can bring 1 Wiimote, but I can't bring the Sensor. :(
 
Does everyone stay in the same hotel or anything? I haven't heard from Shoe since he got on the plane. He's also interested in playing some Smash (mains Peach lol) but I've no idea how good he is.
 
even if noone would have had a sensor with you can still use two candles that you can put on the left and right side of the tv and it'll work lol

Just so y'all know, I will be bringing my own Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl, as well as several Gamecube controllers. So don't sweat it; we'll be able to play =)
 
How're these wiis getting set up anyway?

As in, where the hell are they going to get plugged in at the venue? Unless the Smash is happening elsewhere which would make a whole lot of sense.
