I'm having trouble deciding which set I should use for my Breloom. Which set has given you the most trouble in the past, or which one have you had the most success with?

It's Adamant, if that helps at all.
 
Another question for a badged member, is the suspect voter badge considered an official badge?

Does it have the privileges of the other badges such as locking your thread or changing your thread title?

Does it go away after a while or after the suspect test is over?

Is it only useful for suspect testing?
 
Can a Teddiursa with Quickfeet ability change it's ability uppon evolving to Guts? Is it changeble by turning off and making it evolve again?

Oh, and another question.

If I get a +2 speed boost or any other boost in a pokemon what exactly happens? It's speed gets doubled?
 
Just wondering what are the chances of an egg inheriting the correct IVs.

For Example if i have.

Ditto 31/31/31/31/31/31
and
Salamence 31/31/11/19/7/31

What are the chances that it will inherit the 31 in Atk and Spe since both parents have 31 in them?

That depends on what kind of dragonite you want. If you want a bulky heal bell one,(I am only assuming as such because you said an "XD" dragonite) then aim for a carful or calm nature.
Here is the analysis for dragonite.
As for IV's really depends on the set. As close to flawless as possible?

Any speed checkpoints? Will a 20 speed IV, for example, outspeed something major?

Yes, +2 in a stat does double it, until the pokemon is switched / hazed / phazed / etc.

One of my own, I saw a link to a site where you entered your pokemon's attack move types and it showed you which pokemon (and their type(s)) would not be hit at least neutrally. If someone could provide it I'd be grateful.

I have two questions.

If you save in the exact same spot where the green guy in the PokeMart who gives you Mystery Gift, then receive Mystery Gift, what will happen? Will he not appear until you re-enter the store? Will you be magically pushed away one step? Or will the game freeze?

Also, I have a question that might not be so easy to answer, but Giovanni can be seen by activating the Celebi event in HG/SS. Is it possible to make a patch where he doesn't challenge you immediately to provide time to find where the cave is in Johto (or if it is not in Johto) and/or exit the cave from the south?

I am guessing that you would have to re-enter the PokeMart because the games doesn't refresh yet. It sort of works like the daily trainers in the PokeCenter.
 
Hey guys! i would do this myself but i dont have a damage calculater. how many hp ev's would aerodactyl need to survive and adamant scizor's non-boosted bullet punch? i was thinking about using the coice bander version of aerodactyl, and since scizor is such a huge and common threat (and aerodactyl has the chance to ohko offensive scizor with the choiceband), i would like to be able to still ohko it with firefang if i miss predicted its switch in (provided it has no defensive ev's). i want to know so that i could see if i would be wasting anytime. if you come up with alternatives like:

Example. aerodactyl needs x amount of hp and defense ev's...or aerodactyl needs y amount of hp ev's...or aerodactyl needs to have z defense ev's...

then let me know, that would really help me out alot.

i dont know if i posted this in the right thing or if it should just be an actual page all by itself. thank you for the help

Aerodactyl would need 140 Defense EVs to survive max attack Adamant unboosted Scizor's Bullet Punch, taking 99.67% max.

Factoring in Stealth Rock, you need to invest 252 Def EVs and 208 HP EVs to take 74.79% from Bullet Punch and still survive.

If the Scizor is holding Choice Band (as most are), you'd need to max both HP and Defense AND use a +Def nature to still take 98.90% max.

I'm pretty sure I did that right.
 
i was unckear in my last post. basically, im asking this about a scizor that has maxed out attack. and i also realized that they carry life orbs. could someone calculate that for me? thank you very much.
