Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

So should I enter the seed I got when I was finding out my delay and seconds after doing the flips? Also I'm just a tad lost on what spread is.
 
Spread just refers to the target frame you chose, or the IV spread/nature etc. of the poke you want to capture. This target should have a seed that you enter into the seed to time section. From here, select the exact date you want to SR on. So if your average delay is say 605, but the seed you enter has a delay of 650 for 2009, you will have to fiddle around with the year on your DS in order to change that delay to 605. If you're having trouble, I can just PM you a step by step write up of what I do myself.
 
It depends on what game you're playing. Frames in DPPt (and probably HGSS) do not advance with time, but with in-game actions (unless you count moving NPCs). I believe frames in the Advance games increase at a fixed rate over time (I can't confirm this however).

EDIT: Rest assured, there aren't any viruses embedded in RNG Reporter/Pokerng.
 
Okay, so Seeds and frames......this is going to be a long day...and, are the programs virus checked? I wouldn't want a virus in my computer...
 
Hey If I have my sychronized time, and my reset time, but I don't match my seed on the first try, do I want to keep changing the ds clock back to my synchronized time?
 
Yes you do, until you hit your seed.

I'm still having the same problem I had before, and I've tried everything. I must have tried at least like 30-40 times. >_< I even redid callibration just to make sure, and I got odd delays. Then I tried to hit my delay again, on the same date I did callibration, and got even delays. :/ Is there anything I can do to fix this?
 
Need some help if I'm attempting to capture a Rotom.

1. Is the room I catch Rotom in considered to be a cave so each step/turn advances the frame by one?

2. If my target frame was 30, I should flip 10 times? To get frame 20, walk around 9 steps/turns then talk to the TV. Is this correct? O_o

I've tried this and I got odd delays. I inserted a GBA game just to make sure and I still got odd delays.

EDIT: If it helps at all, I've only tried in the years 2009 and 2008 with my delays being 863 and 864. I'll see if I have the same problem with other years, though I think I will...
 
Ok need some understanding. When I use the Seed to Times Section, enter my initial seed, do generate twice, do I want to use calibration again?
 
I have a strange problem actually.

I'm trying to hit this spread a spread for a shiny egg. I hit my delay twice, or at least I think. The coin flips matched up, I did the those, all 10. Then I did the other taps/flips.

I ran cirkels untill an egg was layed, went to the guy. Saved and checked egg. It was non shiny with a lonely nature. Both times. Also twice male.

I just checked a wild pokémon, but I couldn't get any data out of that. Maybe I waited too long, I don't know.

I only know I (think I) hit my delay twice, did the correct flips but didn't have results.

Did you begin with 6 pokemon in your party? When you hit the delay and did the taps/flips?
 
I am having a difficult time achieving the correct nature on my scyther egg. I follow all the steps from the guy dabears I think on youtube and it still hatches with the wrong nature.
1. First, I have 5 pokemon in my party with the app before the happiness one.
2. I save in front of the water near the resort to catch a level 50 or above magikarp.
3. No pokemon in the daycare and neither parent is holding an item.
4. I catch and record the magikarp.
5. I switch method 1 to egg dppt and change nature to adamant.
6. I select whichever one I want (do the M's and F's stand for male and female?)
7. I calculate poketch taps and do them accordingly.
8. Insert the parents in the daycare, wrong nature.

Am I missing anything?

I set the DS clock to 21:35:00, turn on the game, then reset at 21:35:46. Then at Continue, it becomes 21:36:00.

Is I'm I on the right target or am I missing something, because my coin flips have not hit the mark yet.

Yes you are on the right track. You can flip the coin app 10 times and use the coin flip matcher to see what delay you did hit.
 
I haven't hit anything yet. They've all had no matches. Though what happens again when I do get a match and it isn't the initial seed? Keep trying until it matches?
 
If it doesn't match, that means you are getting far away from your delay or you have something wrong entered in the ds. The date or time may be off and be the cause of the no matches.

Well yes I guess you have to Find your Seed first. :)
I found an easier way to do that. Just go into the RNG and set a
Seed by creating one on the simple seed generator. If you can
try to hit that time on your DS. Then go to Time to Seed and Adjust
your real hit by Generating Results with -/+ 2 seconds and -/+20 to 30 Delays

Now do 10 Flips and Search the Flips and compare it to your result.
If one of the line switches to blue. Congrats you got your seed.

Now that you've done 10 Flips substract 10 from your (Shiny) Frame that you
want to hit. Now check how many Pokemon you have in your party.
Cause the Happiness checker advances your Frame by Partymembers *2
so you switch to the happiness app.
(Substarct one time the number of your partymember times two from your target frame,
cause switching to the app also does the same as a double tap.)
(for all Platinum users that can be a big thing cause you also can switch
back and forth between the app to achieve your result.)
Now calculate the remaining frames and do your Taps/Switches
and remaining Coinflips (1 Coinflip = 1 Frame advancement)

If you arrived 1 before your Target Frame you're done.

so For example Target (Shiny)Frame = 1779
let's say we have 4 Pokes in the party.
TF - 10 (Seed Flipping)-App switch(to Happines checker = Partymembers(4)*2)-Double Taps(220*(4*2))= 1

So that 1 is the Frame that is advanced by taking the Pokes you want
to breed into the daycare and cycling your bike till the man turns eastwards.

Congrats you got your desired (Shiny) Egg :)

I just did it that way with my Milotic and got myself a Shiny Feebas.
So this Method is confirmed :)

One of the main problems I'm having. The seeds to find section. When I enter the initial seed and a list comes up at the top. There are a bunch of picks for date 2009 09 21 with the delay 614. I'm not sure which one should be picked.
