Looks good! But a bit... boring?

Anyway I'm in the middle of a pixel over of the Sugomori Golduck and I'm removing the colour now. But my question is -

What format do I save the WIP?

EDIT: Yeah sorry if that came off as a bit rude :(
 
Cut me some slack people. I haven't worked on anything in like 2 weeks. But w/e, criticism is criticism.

A WIP? Just save as .PNG, like every other good spriter would do.

Just never, never, never, never save as a .JPG.

But you already knew that.

I've already done Scizor + Aggron. There aren't any real differences that could be made.

And oddly, Mightyena is quite emo. The hair on his body, unaltered, can form varying styles of hair.

Same as all pixel related work. Save it as a PNG file.

EDIT: And I'm still open to requests if anyone has any unique or cool ideas.

X already made some sort of Scizor thing involving Beedrill, but it seems to have some skarmory in it.

Yours is good too. In fact, all of them are good. I especially like Scizoyena's second sprite.
 
It looks very good for now, but the lineart is too thick in multiple places. You'll have to go back and fix that soon. Just remember: Try to keep the outline 1 pixel thick.

I'm assuming the red line is supposed to be his tongue? If so, it needs to be more curvier.

Actually, lineart for pixel-art does not need to be one pixel thick if the picture is big enough. Having thicker lines can make the lines like much smoother. Take a look at Wyverii's art for examples of this.

Alchemator, I think the original line art for your golduck was better. You need to shade the thing too.

Dragonite made to look like Barney the Dinosaur (The head is messed up a bit...I needed to keep the claws on its hands since it was too hard to make Barney hands).

Honestly though, it was hard. These two really have no common ground, other than their feet. I didn't even bother trying to finish the Aerodactyl base, as it would have been impossible unless I basically scratched the entire thing from the start. None of the parts willingly fit. :|
