i'm trying to hit a high delay (2640) using syberia's guide... how is it possible that rng reporter says "no reasonable initial seed found. please check your date or time" when I catch a wild pokemon and report its stats in the seed finder? i tried twice and i checked my data and time, but i wasn't able to have my initial seed... maybe rng reporter doesn't show high delays? help me!

I dont think it does show high delays but add 2000 to the year and it should give you the delay-2000
Because for delays over 1000 rng reporter cannot find them that way. Using exact IVs you can get a higher delay range but I dont think it reaches 2640. Use the coin flips to see where you are in your adjacent seeds
but also in adjacent results i cannot type high delays... anyway i'll try using 2000 years later!

Basically just follow the directions.
I would because once you save you want to be on the coin app to check that you hit your seed, but you don't have to. I heard somewhere that walking in and out of buildings when you are on the happiness app might mess you up so I would at least change to the next app.

Don't use its stats. Use IVs. The stat seed finder has a limit on its delay, the IV seed finder doesn't.
yeah, i'll try it but it's difficult anyway, because i'm abusing of shaymin at lv 30 and i have a platinum original game, so calculate its IVs it isn't so easy... thank you very much

How it works is very simple. You find a spread (using whatever method you chose), type in the seed and frame of that spread into the program, as well as the maximum and minimum delay that you feel comfortable hitting. Click "Modify Frame", and the program spits out the lowest frame possible to get the spread within the specified min and max delay.

Can't you already do this with RNG reporter?
Practice hitting your delay in an area where you have high level Pokemon (i.e north of the Resort Area), then when you have narrowed down your delay range you can use coin flips.
Kind of. You can plug in the IVs into the Seed Finder and select "Open Search" and "Show Offset". That'll give you a list of ALL the seeds you can high your spread on. You just have to pick your seed from there.
As OmegaDonut said, you can, but this is easier. It didn't take long, so I just threw it together in case anyone cared :P.
Okay- I have a question. I'm trying to hatch a flawless Elekid. I'm repeatedly hitting a frame of 9 when I'm collecting an egg from the day care. Now, the spread that I want is also on frame 9 of a different day... So, does the journal's inital appearance affect my frame at all when I cancel it?

You're trophy garden pokemon from yesterday. As you can still encounter the one from the day before.
First activate the Trophy Graden Pokemon you want, then save, and then change the day and set your clock to 23:59 and then activate the new Trophy Garden Pokemon and now the Previous Pokemon of the Day will have an Encounter Slot of 7

If I'm on frame 13, and I step into the patch of grass that has the pokemon, does the frame advance to 14 so the pokemon is from frame 14?

Woah?! I was saved 2 steps away from Mewtwo in HG, walked forward to encounter him, caught him and found out he was still on frame 1?! There are wild pokes in his immediate vicinity. I Sweet Scented standing right there after I caught him just to verify. Has anybody else encountered this in HG before? I guess I'll try Resaving directly in front of him, then turning Left, then right. If that doesn't work, I guess I could try the radio (hasn't been very consistent for me >_>)
Are you trying to find the seed you actually hit by putting it's IVs in, or are you trying to find a seed that will give you those IVs?
