Thank you.

Would a Hide box allow you to effectively have a bigger signature or not?

Hey, I'm gonna raise a Porygon-Z in-game, he's super cool, but the only problem is that I can't get the right hidden power, and if I get lucky and score the HP Fighting with the Porygon IVs it would be a 58 BP HP, but I don't want to be harmless to tyranitar if it appears, barring HP, what is my best option?
Thanks

It probably doesn't take a bulky Tyranitar out (sandstorm giving 50% more sp. def is a real pain), but Adaptability Specs/Life Orb max sp atk Modest Hyper Beam does a *LOT* of damage. I mean, obscene ammounts of damage.

It also then leaves you vulnerable to a set-up the next turn. That is why recharge attacks are frowned upon: not viable unless you are really sure of yourself. It also leaves you vulnerable to the ghost types (Substitute Rotom-A, I'm looking at you.)

Would leftovers + synthesis + ingrain + leech seed work?
Other than Smeargle, nothing learns ingrain and either baton pass or u turn. Which means once you ingrain you're just going to be setup bait. Your opponent just sends in basically any boosting sweeper, boosts 3 times, then wrecks your team. If SDScizor comes in it's GG right there.

Are the nature/IVs of a fossil pokemon determined the moment the fossil is mined or the moment it is revived?

Edit: Figured it out - it does depend on the moment you revive.

Question about how the battle tower works. Tyranitar doesn't evolve till 55, but will it have the nice boosted stats from evolving when it's brought back down to level 50 in the battle tower or will it have whatever it's stats were at level 50 as a pupitar?

I'm almost positive it takes level 50 Tyranitar stats, not Pupitar stats.

Questions! If an Arceus uses Electric, Ice, Fire, or Poison type Judgement, is there any chance it can inflict the status accordingly? Such as Fire type Judgement burning your opponent. And, if you give assign all possible EVs to a Pokémon, will it gain those EVs upon leveling up in the Day Care Center or only when it is in your party without the use of a Rare Candy? Thanks people

Those status inflictions are part of the moves of those types (note that some moves of those types don't cause those status problems, like Aurora Beam causing an Attack drop, not a freeze), not the type itself, so no, Judgment can't cause status.

I imagine that EVs would be applied as soon as the Pokemon went into the day-care, but they would definitely be applied if it levelled up in there. And levelling it up with a Rare Candy would work too. As would simply putting it in the PC and taking it back out.

how do i get a hitmonchamp to learn bullet punch. according to bulbapedia he learns it at level 16 but doesn't evolve until level 20.

It does use Tyranitar stats recalculated to Level 50.

Judgment has no status effect, regardless of type. No additional effects of any kind, actually.

I'm not sure what you're asking about the EVs. EVs are gained only when a vitamin item is used, or experience is gained in battle. The Daycare center does not give any, nor does rare candies.

1. Where can I find an EV training table for HeartGold/SoulSilver?
2. Where can I find the rules for the VGC tournaments?
Thankyou.

You can easily do it aswell with pokesav if you use a flash card or otherwise use the GTS Cloning Glitch, altough that one is a bit unreliable. Pokesav is definatly the easiest way.

Edit:
@ Ramblin Wreck: I think most of them come from smeargles studio and/or are created by the user itself.

@ chaps: if your refering to an EV training guide, check this. I can't think of anything else what you could refer to as an EV training table. Here is the latest set of VCG rules.

Question about cloning.. Is the only way to clone pokemon is to have an Action Replay?

You can clone in the emerald battle tower and GTS in D/P

@ Ramblin wreck: take the two sprites, go into paint, cut the parts you don't want off, surround it with the slection tool, and move it into place

A question of my own: what does np stand for in sticky threads? I'm stupid :(
