Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

In RNG Reporter, if I'm trying to catch a female Pokémon who has a 75% male, 25% female gender ratio, I would be looking for spreads that have an "F" in the third column (25%), rather than the fourth (75%), correct?

its on the first page. scroll down. if the pikatimer link isn't working, use javarng. it has the pikatimer built into it.
 
This is related to FR/LG RNG:

Ha! I just assumed that I could calculate accurate IVs off of Zapdos's Nature/Stats at L50 alone... apparently not. What would I have to do to him to quickly get enough info on him to find his exact IVs while soft resetting? Just 1 rare candy and record his info before and after?

I used to fill in the IV's that the Pokémon should have, then check what the stats are on that level with that IV's (Lvl 50 in your case).

Repeat that for Lvl 51 and/or 52.

you just have to synch the seconds from your DS clock with any other external clock. Then it's really easy to know when your DS is changing minutes and thus, when to press A or SR accordingly

The file is named Spreads.txt, so if the program's on your desktop, see if a Spreads.txt file exists there.

1 question if we flip the journal to a page where it doesent say defeated/captured the pokemon does it advance the frame?
 
Wierld Dilema: For my wondercard, I have a frame of 119, subtract 1, and divide by 2 to get 59 journal flips. So I do that, and you know I'm hitting my seed a couple of times, but it keeps coming back that I've only done 58 journal flips (a frame of 117). I haven't even let an npc move at all to mess me up. Will I need to let an NPC move once to fix this? Also, is this kind of thing something that happens to everyone at times (just wondering)?

Opening the Journal, or having it automatically open, when there is a caught or defeated Pokémon on the first page advances the RNG by 2. There are a number of formats for the caught/defeated Pokémon text. Those listed below have been verified to advance the RNG.
'Caught a female BIDOOF.''Caught AZELF (LATE NIGHT).''UXIE was caught (DAY).''Defeated a male BIDOOF.'Flipping to a page in the Journal where a caught or defeated Pokémon is listed advances the RNG by two. The same message formats listed above will advance the RNG.

No only pages with Caught or Defeated ___ text will advance it...

Hey instead of me having to let an npc move once, should I just do one extra journal flip?
 
Ok that's what I thought. I'll need one npc movement. Just wondering if anyone has had problems with this seed: 0a01082e
 
Hey, so, I am back with one more question, when RNG abusing for shinies, once it has hatched shiny one then soft resets for the IVs right?

Also, I was wondering as to what I should do if the reporter has said : "no reasonable initial seed found for DATE and TIME." I know my SID is right, and I am 100% positive that the Date is right, so the only thing might be the time, if it is the time which I hit continue on my DS then I don't know what is wrong.
