Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

What's the process? Pick a spread that you want, enter it into the ID finder, pick the seed with your ID, then proceed to hit the seed and advance the frame? How do you advance the frame?

Could someone direct me to a guide on how to RNG for egg IVs and/or shiny eggs in HGSS?
its probably been asked a million and one times, but I figure a million and two is my lucky number :P

not to mention im probably blind and can't see one thats staring in my face.

your not blind, one hasn't been written yet

For those who have successfully used Pandora to get a specific TID/SID/etc.: what do I plug into the calibrated/wanted seconds in PikaTimer? It takes me an average of 69 seconds to get past Oak's introduction, and the time I'm aiming for is 22:15:59. Does this mean I should put 9 for the calibrated seconds, 59 for the wanted seconds, then add a minute to the second timer?

This has probably been answered before, but I can't seem to find a clear response just by sifting through the pages.

In HG/SS, how do you go about finding your average seconds/delay? Also, what are some ways to advance the RNG? Is the method used to capture stationary legendary Pokemon Method J, and if so, does anyone know what the monster frames of the stationary legends are?

How do I shorten my delay? The seed I want is at 625 frames, but the shortest I've ever been able to get to the Continue screen was 15 seconds, which is 900 frames.

..what game is that? A delay of 900 is very large for only 15 seconds (I usually get around 14 seconds, and that's only 600 delay).

Generally, you don't want to go for anything lower than your average calibrated delay; the game can only load so fast. Try looking for seeds with delays closer to your average or higher?

I thought 1 sec = 60 frames...or is that only in Emerald?

Is there any other correlation between the time between the DS main screen and the poke game's Continue screen?

One second of loading means 60 frames added to your delay, since the game runs at 60 frames per second. But all the time when there is a white screen, the frames aren't running, so you don't count that for your delay.

You can probably take out 3 seconds from white screen there, that aren't added to the delay.

You could say near 3800 would be a nice min delay to start your search from.
