Question: From what source are users like Genny, Jibaku, and I think Stellar getting their Pokemon avatars from? I think they're all from the same place since they're similar in style.

So I have a few questions concerning the RNG and the starters in Hg/Ss. When you press A on the machine, does the game give the starters consecutive PIDs on the frame list? For example, if one were to press A on the machine while the frame was on the first frame, would the game assign Chikorita the PID from frame 1, Cyndaquil the PID from frame 2, and Totodile the PID from frame 3?

Also, do either Prof. Elm or his assistant advance the frames in any way? Or are you always getting the first three frames produced by the Seed if you save in front of the machine and soft reset?

If Groudon and Kyogre are both sent out at the same time in a double battle, each of them on a different team, what determines if it will Rain or there will be Sun?

I just caught Lugia in my SoulSilver. I made sure I answered the Master in the Dragon's Den's questions correctly... but he still isn't giving me a Dratini at all, let alone one with ExtremeSpeed. What are the actual requirements for getting that Dratini?

I had the same issue. I don't know what the exact requirements are, but I think you can get it after beating Lance. I waited until I finished Kanto, personally, but he did give it to me. Remember to SR for a male though, if you want to breed for extremespeed. Don't be dumb like me and save without checking the gender =/

Lol, i was just doing that. It's bottom, top, bottom, top, middle. I'm fairly sure about this, but if my answer doesn't seem "compassionate", then don't pick it. As for how to get Dratini, you just go outside, talk to Clair, and come back.

ExtremeSpeed can be passed on? I thought you couldn't breed it.

does anyone know if that trade glitch (where you could evolve pokemon like haunter and machoke via the global trading thing by yourself) got fixed in hg/ss?

This was asked somewhere back, it was not fixed, was the answer. I can't verify it, but I'll see if I can find the post.

I would like to know the answer to this as well!

Although I haven't attempted to abuse them, I have heard a few people who tried. The PIDs are set when you look in the machine (but if you SR, it will change next try). I don't believe they are frames 1, 2, 3 but they do have a set starting frame for each that I don't know. No one in the lab advances the frame, so you'll have to relly on waiting outside for the townspeople to move.

I would like to know this too. I came across the site once, but I forgot what it was :\

EDIT: I believe the frames for the starters are 5 apart (frames 1, 6, and 11) like the birds in Platinum.

Depends on the team you are using. I personally like CB scizor because it can revange so much threats.

I agree.. I have made up my mind. I'm going to use CB Scizor cause it can really pick off frail pokemons like Gengar, Azelf and other frail threat. CBzor pretty much has an advantage over SDzor cause CBzor can be used early-game as a scouter(Choice Banded U-turn hurts so much!) and finishing weakened pokemon late-game. SDzor can own early game if it get's an SD up so as late-game but I really find CBzor helpful. Thanks!! :D
