How to clone Pokemon in Emerald version

Lol, so that wall of text wasn't needed then :o Well, at least people know what Missingno is now o.o Theres glitches with the Pattern Bush in FR/LG too, but I'm not going to ramble on about that. Yeah and Gaara and his sand village siblings are pretty boring, and the last time I read the manga Orochimaru was still around, who is much more exciting imo.
 
Yeah, what's the deal with Pattern Bush? I've been rather bored with my pokemon game recently, so spice it up for me.

Orochimaru's awesome. It's just that he looks too old.
 
Well he is 51, though he does look pretty old when compared to Jiraiya and Tsunade. The Pattern Bush in Fr/Lg has strong rumors coming from it, mostly of games freezing. IIRC about a year ago my game froze, and it MIGHT have been in the Pattern Bush, but I'm not exactly sure. There have been reports of other games freezing too, but it could be just people craving attention. If your getting bored with your games then I'd suggest playing around with the Pomeg glitch in Emerald, though it might have some harmful side-effects like erasing your file, so it'd be risky.
 
There's a link somewhere in this tangled thread (heeheefunny). But anyway, why did they put the pattern bush in there anyway? what's it for? what does it do?

I have no clue what could cause glitches like that in the the Pattern Bush, and the only reason why its in the game is to give you a place to catch certain bug Pokemon = / Though out of all the places in Fr/Lg it seems strange that most people clain that the Pattern Bush is messed up.

I always thought of the one in your party as being the original. I like to keep the original separate from the clones for sentimental reasons, but really it doesn't matter. Technically they're ALL originals.
 
Both are the originals, though if I had had to pick one I would say the one in your party because withdrawing it is the last "step" before you talk to the wireless lady. On a side note though, Nintendo has taken a small action on this, but it won't affect anything if you timetravel most likely. On D/P, you can only transfer 6 pokemon a day from your advance games to D/P. And by transfer, I mean they stay there for good. No trading from D/P --> Advance cart.
 
yeah the one in your party would be the origional. the one in the pc appears as a copy of the one in your party after you turn the game off rmaking it a result of the glitch...

I think thats right lol
 
so no one's discovered any long-term screwups?
and if I do happen to corrupt my data, will I still be able to start a new game or will i have to get a new cart?
 
Just a new game. I doubt a simple cloning glitch could cause any cart damaging effects, tbh I doubt even ?, Bad EGG or ?????? could permanently damage a cart = /
 
good 2 know. now i'm gonna trade all the pokes I care about to sapphire/fr and test it on a taillow or something. then I'll clone the ones I care about. By the way, do any of you have to buy 2 gameboys just to trade? if so, I laugh at you, for I have a little sister!!!! This really isn't necessary. As long as you follow the instructions exactly you'll be fine. I've cloned dozens of pokemon and hundreds of items and haven't had a problem to speak of. But whatever makes you feel beter, I guess....

What happens to the Shadow Monitor (When you look at the Location of the (purified) Shadow Pokemon) if you trade more than one of a XD-purified pokemon cloned in Emerald back to XD. For instance, 3 Lugias, and you store them all in the Purification Chamber or PC in different Sets/Boxes??
 
No, what I meant is the Shadow Monitor says where is the pokemon's current Location. So, in the Monitor, it will show that the pokemon is either gone or is in somewhere, and a Lugia in Box 1 will make the monitor's tracker locate Box 1
 
what do you consider is right to use in cloning, maybe cloning 45 rare candys for checking IV´s or is it right to use RC´s to make a EV trained pokémon instant lv 100? (I prefer not to) when i clone and trade I give it the name (ninjask in this example) Ninja "cl" (cl for clone and using rare candys)
