My opinion is that it's kind of pointless on any of them that is not named Flareon, so might as well just give him flare blitz.

Heres an idea that could boost up all the Eeveelutions (perhaps even poor little Flareon). Its a move that all the Eeveelutions learn at level 55 (plenty of time to evolve Espeon, Umbreon) that changes based on their type and highest attacking stat. It could be 100BP, 90 Acc, and 10 pp, and could be called Evolution Beam or something else less cheesy. For example, if Flareon were to use it, it would be a fire-type physical move. If Espeon were to use it, it would be a psychic-type special move. I would like to hear your opinions please.

I think Espeon would still use Psychic (same EBP when you take accuracy into account), Jolteon would still use Thunderbolt, Vaporeon would still use Surf, Leafeon would still use Leaf Blade, Umbreon would still use Payback, and Glaceon would still use Ice Beam. The only one that's better on is Flareon, and it would still be unusable (Flareon is bad).

Errorgon with the ability "glitchy" which gives a 10% chance a bad thing will happen to it? Not fun.

maybe porygon with very good stats, but an ability that has its attacks not work a percentage of the time, or it does damage to itself everytime it attacks or something, kind of like Slaking?

I'll be replying to both of these posts with a general type structure in my response, but if something specifically mentioned in your post comes up chances are I'm referring to you.

About the glitching, we simply need to analyze what Porygon's predecessor are. Porygon's evolutions are failed experiments initially meant to be able to adapt to a new environment. Porygon2 failed because it couldn't fly in space, but was given an ability like trace, something that represented it's ability to adapt. Same with Porygon-Z (to an extent), but Adaptability/Download are on the more offensive side (which isn't a problem, as it complements his stat distribution really nicely). The question I offer up, on this completely speculated (but not exactly a bad idea~) of an evolution is, how can we have an ability that represents his ability to adapt, but at the same time represents his glitchyness (not necessarily literally glitchy but with the idea that Porygon was meant for X environment and failed horribly, more so than the previous ones)? It would probably be something thats lets him adapt but has a very easily poked hole, maybe something along the lines of Color Change. I don't mean he should change type, but something as flawed as Color Change that still presents the ability to adapt and, is in itself, very useful yet still very flawed and easy to work your way around. Maybe a Conversion2 esque ability.

Running with the taunt related discussion, I wish Magic Coat reflected it back. It's not used but a whole lot of Pokemon, and would give Smeargle a little bit more use against faster taunters.

I'm a bit depressed to see that they've decided to discontinue the pokemon walking behind you. Used to love to have tangrowth follow me around...
I also hope they introduce the only flying combination left; Flying + Fighting.

You know, they may have kept that out of the what we have seen thus far for the sole reason of not wanting to reveal any new Pokemon or even any of the pokemon that may be available in that region. I would assume the shots are at the beginning of the game, and in Gen4, near the very beginning, we didn't see any old Pokemon whatsoever.

You mean like Porygon in Pokemon Snap? I always liked Porygon better dark green than pale pink, although the origional Pory is one of my favorites.

Maybe there is some kind of war or something, or maybe just Silph being funny, but they should make a Porygon adapt at survival (lol, now that I think about it, it seems like WallE). Origional meant to aid Police in ending crime, this Porygon escaped/disappeared on a surveillance mission.

It might work.....but it would probably be too difficult to sort through this idea. I keep getting these great ideas and realize: Porygon is computer Programming, not a robot. And apparently, is unable to survive outside of Cyberspace.

If porygon can't survive out of cyberspace then why was he able to move around in the manga and the anime? As well as Pokemon Stadium/2 and Pokemon Battle Revolution. I'm pretty sure he can liver outside CyberSpace. He does not even breathe.

first of all, why the F doesnt Smogon have a "welcome" thread

ANYWAY. My opinion on "evolution beam", I think it would be..... weird. I dont know. I may flareon some usefullness though.

You know, they could just use Zoroark/Zorua/Pikachu/any of the other 495 Pokemon that have been revealed. Pokemon walking behind you seems like something they're only going to put in remakes/third games like the Battle Fronteir.

I actually think the "Shocking" announcement might be that new vehicle they mentioned.
lol. A car!

According to one of the Generation 1 scientists after the Team Rocket attacks, there is a Siph Co. in Russia. Maybe they will make their own specialized Porygon.

Personally i think it's going to be a car. Though i hope it isn't as an 11 year old driving a car? I don't think so...

The bike is just so original, maybe a different type of bike like in R/S/E...

I wonder how you could encounter wild pokes though... "A wild Pika- Oh wait... you killed it." Possibly you use the car to drive around in cities... Which cover the entire region?

Ok, that was a stupid thing to say. Just speculating though.

Meybe they might bring back the skateboard from G/S beta?

What? They haven't mentioned anything like a new vehicle, to my knowledge. Some people noticed a truck in the background of one of the picks--but that's just it. It was more in the background, under the bridge the trainer was riding on. There's no indication at all that we'll actually get to ride one or anything (and I personally doubt it), though.

In the comments of one of the screen shots there was talk of a new form of transpertation

Nor do I have any information directly from Nintendo. I'm using the post made by the Smogon Moderator which says "It is also said that a never before seen vehicle will make its appearance in the game!" (Said by Jibaku)
