Farfy needs evo. The ink spill was over 12 years ago, Game Freak. (Read its Gen IV analysis if you didn't get the joke.) It's time to give Farfetch'd a second chance.

And as for the battle frontier...it should utilize stuff like Gen IV's battle frontier and Gen III's battle frontier. No "gimmicks" that don't involve actual battles, though: Why the heck does the battle palace exist in Gen III again? It MIGHT be nice to revamp Battle Factory, though...

The Battle Palace exists so you can see Latios use Calm Mind six times before killing the poor hapless fool. In other words, so you can rage at the stupidity of the Pokemon.

Double Kick only hits 2 times Double Hit only hits 2 times why the fuck dose double slap his 2-5 times god i wanna see that changed -_-

It really can't be "changed", per se. In Japan, Doubleslap's known as "Round Trip Slap", which really has nothing to do with a two-hit attack, unlike Double Hit and Double Kick, whose name in Japan have double in them, anyway (Double Attack and Double Kick, respectively).

Changing the topic here real quick: am I the only person who's kinda freaked out with how Zoroark looks? Looks like he's itching to rip somebody's face off if you ask me.

You know, maybe it's not a fox. Maybe it's a wolverine. Those things will tear your face off.

It's called the Monster Fox pokémon and it has the ability to use illusions for a reason. It's probably based around the Japanese kitsune's ability to conjure illusions. ... Why Ninetales doesn't have this ability, is a different question. Perhaps Game Freak realized the golden fox sucked and didn't bother making it any better.

That just means the Diamond/Pearl gen is winding down and they're going to start one for the 5th gen games. No biggie.

Edit: Oh, Kotaku. Never change.

Canines are kinda my thing and I still think Zoroark looks fucked up.

Though Ming-Ming, Ninetales does have Confuse Ray, which is odd for Fire type.

What? They gave one (and sites like Serebii and Bulbapedia have been talking about it for a while now anyway):

But yeah, all that means is that the Diamond/Pearl arc is ending in the anime, and whatever they'll call the 5th gen one will be starting in the fall to coincide with Black and White. So, just the norm for the anime in this situation.

Damnit, I clicked on the link to check if its info were really as Kotaku posted, but I'm useless -__-

I knew that was going to be brought up, and I was playing around with what I was going to say when said comment would pop up, and...

Well, Magmar's line also gets Confuse Ray, as well. Not to say Ninetales isn't completely out of the water in terms of its kitsune legend thing (There was an anime ep devoted to its illusions, even), but it just seems fairly odd to me that we're gettin' an illusionist fox, when we have a kitsune that's powers were supposed to be illusions in the first place.

I dunno, it's probably just me, but it's strange to have two kitsune-based pokémon.

Oh well. The anime's turned into spamming one catch phrase after another, although, I have a feeling the exact same thing will happen to the next one.

Edit: Ninetails is also the only non Ghost Pokemon to learn Grudge.

It was only a matter of time before the DP Arc ended. I doubt they will go through any major changes (female protagonist joins Ash, Ash stays main character, Pikachu stays Pikachu, Male protagonist completely forgotten, Ashe gets starter bird [others include Noctowl, Staraptor, Swellow, Pidgeot] for Gen V), so it's not that bad.

Ninetails is also the only non Ghost Pokemon to learn Grudge.
Ninetails is a very odd fire-type IMO. While it shares traits with other fire types...Energy Ball, Extransitory, Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, Grudge, Will-O-Wisp via level up (actually saves me having to get TMs, but still odd).

Zoraork is based on a mythical Japanese fox creature who changes it's appearance and fools travelers for fun. I was just looking at his Bulbapedia article before coming here.

From this and the highway (inspect the underside of the bridge for a few moments, if you will),we can see that this 5th Gen region is much more industrialized than we thought from the CoroCoro scans.

Cars, giant cities, freaky looking Dark Pokemon running around causing mayhem? Ah yes, it's the inevitable crossover: Grand Theft Pokemon.

The sequel will be called Fuschia City Stories.

Edit: Wow, I didn't even see the discussion over fatigue and hunger stats. Just more evidence for my point, I guess.

Edit 2: Wow. I love Google.

i gotta agree, we need more quality and less quantity, instead of adding useless stuff they should add useful ones and by that i mean giving evos to pokes that deserve

Agreed. Sorry to all you Dusknoir lovers out there, but that guy was just about the most unnecessary evolution ever. Meanwhile, cool Pokes like Dunsparce, Corsola, Farfetch'd, and Stantler are completely forgotten. Come on Nintendo, getcha head in the game!

Maybe not ever....but....

lol. The police do something and the grunts aren't completely incompetent, and steal something besides Wurmple, Silcoon and Cascoon.

I seems that since all the beast have Extremespeed, maybe, just maybe, those are Zoroark's moves. The Legenday beast just get them in replication of the Zoroark in the movie. These are more than likely the moves that Zoroark uses in the movie while he is the beasts. Aura Sphere, Nasty Plot, Extremespeed, Crush Claw, and Howl all seem like something that Zaroark would do.

Just an idea. If this is so, Zaroark will definitely be similar to Lucario, but he will have means to defeat Blissey and, quite possbily, any other defensive threat as well.

Mmmmmmm....dark-typed version of Extremespeed....(falls into drooling trance)

That is a good point, WarriorPrince. When I saw the shinies of the Legendary Beasts, they kinda reminded me of the Pokemon clones Mewtwo made in the first movie...slightly off color, like they're imperfect copies or illusions.

Mmmmm.....super-powered version of Extremespeed with 300 base power, 100% flinch rate....

What? How dare you say that my expectations for Zoroark are too high?

To be fair though, Extremespeed is a lot more dependable. With Sucker Punch you risk getting set up on or letting the opponent get a free switch.

they are too low. Shame on you

You're right, I was holding back. Here's my real prediction for what Zoroark's special move will be:

Overhype

Type: Awesome

Power: Don't even try to guess

Learns at: Level 1

Effect: Zoroark goes nucking futs and kills every Pokemon on the opponent's team. In a trainer battle, the prize money is multiplied by fifty bajillion.

Now, let us ponder the subtle effects this will have on the metagame.

Also, to those of you who will say "Duuur we could just Bullet Punch it before it attacks," you're forgetting that Zoroark will have 500 base stats all around.

I was thinking of his special move being able to teleport you to the hall of fame, it also has your moves affect in battle.
