If a team has no realistic way to beat itself other than with a huge PP stall, then it will not be allowed. If your one Pokemon with counter or eq could not do anything, but the rest of the team could harm eachother then it's ok. If those Pokemon were the only 'mons with offensive attacks, it's probably not.
