Challenge The Scramble Challange

hey was saying specs tauros wasn't THAT bad, presumably for the reasons you listed. He was instead complaining about his legitimately RIDICULOUS Happiny challenge.
@Acritter, I feel for you man. Dang.

oh, wait, really? I thought he was using hyperbole. He actually has to solo the Elite 4 with Happiny using physical moves? That's outside the spirit of the challenge I daresay.

I mean, I guess you go Protect/Last Resort/nil/nil @ Silk Scarf? That's like a 4HKO on Lance's last Dragonite with Happiny at level 50. What's the point?

Um... haha, I got completely misinterpreted. I was actually saying that Specs Tauros was stupidly frustrating instead of challenging, and was using the Happiny as a theoretical example of a stupidly frustrating Pokemon. The word "my" (in retrospect not the best choice) was supposed to mean the challenge I give out, not the challenge I have. It may just be me, but having to grind to 60 to deal with the E4 seems excessive...

RoyalPeach: Trade over a Bidoof from Platinum and name it HM Slave. It must have 4 HMs on as soon as possible, and must be kept within 7 levels of your highest level. Or is that just too cruel? Making someone actually USE a Bidoof?

@RoyalPeach: use a Bellsprout. It has to finish off (not necessarily solo) one of Whitney's Pokémon to evolve, then finish off one of Morty's Pokémon to evolve again.

Ah aha, I suppose when you assume...
In any case things have slowly been getting more and more cruel as this progressed, I figured you weren't letting people john about their unfortunately bad, if hilarious, Pokemon. But, there is some merit in remembering that this is supposed to make it slightly more difficult and not over-the-top hard.

In light of that. @Royal Peach: Have a Qwilfish, It may not know more than one HM at any given time and it must defeat at least 3/5 of Karen's team.

Im sorry but im not using Bidoof

1. Dragonite [no e-speed]
2. Qwilfish [1 hm move/ 3/5 Karens team]
3. Bellsprout [ Evolve after killing a pokemon on Whitneys team, Then Morty]

Use Kecleon. At some point before you face the Elite Four for the first time, it must use a STAB move for super effective damage. It can be against anything, anywhere.

If Bidoof's rejected, then you must use a Chansey/Blissey (traded over if need be) named White Mage. It must know Heal Bell and/or Aromatherapy as well as Softboiled, and must be used as often as possible to heal your team's ailments (Softboiled to siphon HP to them, Heal Bell/Aromatherapy to destatus them, items when you can't use either without sacrificing a 'mon).

1. Dragonite [no e-speed]

4.Keckleon <.<

No Blissy, already a normal type with Keckleon

I won't be offended if you want to do the Blissey instead. I just came up with that, thought, "I bet that's nigh-impossible," then looked at the moveset and was like, "Actually, this wouldn't be that hard." But if it seems too cumbersome then w/e.

Meh, Keckleon is more interesting tbh, I'll use that instead

Aargh. Missed the type restriction (incidentally, you realize that Qwilfish and Bellsprout are both poison?). Try three.

Pinsir named Death Hax. Must know Guillotine ASAP and use all its Guillotine PP before any other attacking moves, except against Ghosts, because that would be stupid.

Ok so my team so far:
-Furret-Foresight, cant save until I catch one
-Poliwrath/Toad-Must hate me before it evolves into Poliwhirl, ALLMYHATE
-Slowbro/king-Must be bred to know Belly Drum, BellyPoke
-Chikorita, cannot evolve unless it survives one turn against Bugsy's Scyther.

I already have the dual type rule (Water), so Granbull is not on my team. Need two more.
And with Growlithe, I believe you still have room for one more?

Take a Weezing (no nickname required, but if you want to name it, go right ahead). It must be the highest-level Pokemon on your team at all times (if you catch a Koffing that is a lower level than any of your Pokemon you may train it until it meets this requirement, but that is the ONLY exception). You must teach it the TMs for Thunder and Fire Blast as soon as you capture it and you cannot ever let it forget them. It also may never forget Smokescreen. I think this one qualifies as easy, since I've actually raised such a Weezing in my HeartGold with no problem.

And I think I may start one of these in my LeafGreen version. Just a few ground rules.

1: No nicknames. I just don't feel right using anything nicknamed. So yes, this does mean that ingame trade Pokemon are simply out of the question.
2: Whatever my team winds up being, I must be able to use all HMs (Flash is optional, because it sucks).
3: Nothing ridiculous, impossible, or next to impossible, like soloing the Elite 4 with a Chansey that only knows physical moves.
4: I can't find my link cable or my second wireless adaptor, so no trading.
5: If possible, please don't make me use the Safari Zone for too much. In March I found a shiny Ekans in HeartGold's Safari Zone and it ran away, and there are still bad memories. I'd really prefer to not have a repeat of this.

Ok guys, sorry for not replying earlier. I really don't mind using that Tauros, ok, it maight be quite stupi, but I accept the challenge. :D
My team is:
Girafarig (cannot repeat move types)
Feraligatr (no ice moves)
Donphan (must have rollout, no tm's)
Dragonite (must be 3rd generation with ExtremeSpeed)
Tauros (must carry choice specs, must not have any physical moves)
Ampharos (moveset isFocus Punch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Thunderbolt)

I don't mind hunting for heart scales for the fire punch at all.

@Missingno

Use a Nidoqueen that knows surf.

Thanks guys, gonna start my Heartgold now :D

1. Dragonite [no e-speed]
2. Qwilfish [1 hm move/ 3/5 Karens team]
3. Bellsprout [ Evolve after killing a pokemon on Whitneys team, Then Morty]
4.Keckleon <.<
5. Pinsir/ DEATH HAX [Must use gullotine up before attacking]

And yes, Qwil & bell are both poison but they have extra types with them.

One more please =]

@missingno; I granteth you a clefable. You must evolve it IMMEDIATELY with a moon stone. You must also teach it all special Tms.

Alright, let's see..

1: Staryu. Can't evolve, can't learn Surf.
2: Nidoqueen. Must know Surf.
3: Clefable. Must evolve immediately, must learn 4 TMs that teach special moves.

Well, that's not so bad. Keep 'em coming, guys! Still need 3 more, and you know what? I'm actually kinda eager to get started!

EDIT: And don't forget my rules- nothing that requires trading nothing that is ridiculous and/or next to impossible, I must be able to use all non-Flash HMs with the team I get stuck with, no nicknames, and as little Safari Zone as possible.

Use a Slowpoke, and it can't evolve unless it knows Rain Dance

Missingno, use a Pidgey. It can only evolve after solo-ing Erica's entire team. From there, it can evolve to Pidgeot whenever you'd like. It must also always know Sand-Attack, and it must learn and keep fly once the HM becomes available to you.

I'd also like to start my own scramble challenge on Sapphire. Here's the rules I'm playing with:

Nothing impossible, extremely difficult, or ridiculous.
No inappropriate nicknames, please.
No Pokemon type can be used on my team twice, unless the two Pokemon both have a second type.
No useless Pokemon.
I don't have a link cable, no trading please.
If I find something too ridiculous, I can turn the offer down if I'd like (Which I almost definitely won't do... this is for just in case)

EDIT: And also, no egg moves please
EDIT2: No completely stall-oriented Pokes, I personally don't like them, and find them ridiculous to use in-game

1: Staryu. Can't evolve, can't learn Surf.
2: Nidoqueen. Must know Surf.
3: Clefable. Must evolve immediately, must learn 4 TMs that teach special moves.
4: Slowbro. Must be caught as a Slowpoke and must know Rain Dance in order to evolve.
5: Pidgeot. Must not evolve from Pidgey until it single-handedly (single-wingedly?) wipes out Erika's team. Must keep Sand-Attack and Fly permanently.

Just one more! I'm looking forward to this!

EDIT: LafondaOnFire, use a Weezing. It must not evolve unless it knows Thunderbolt, and must know Thunderbolt as well as the fire-type move of your choice by the time you challenge Sootopolis gym. It also cannot forget aforementioned moves. Nickname's completely up to you.
