Looks like I'm choosing the grass starter for my first play-through for the first time ever...

the other two look really boring... hopefully somehow their actual appearance will make up for it...

Seriously the fire types are always OP
Charizard in RB was OP.
Typhlosion in GS was SOOOOO OP.
Blaziken in RSE was more OP than Swampert and Sceptile AT THE TIME.. *now hes the worst*
And you know Nape kicks ass.

But the game is harder with Grass types
Saur has nothing but Sleep Powder
Meganium has nothing but Synthesis
Sceptile had nothing but Razor Lead
Torterra had nothiing.

Sceptile got the awesome signature Leaf Blade. Meganium was the best starter back in GSC. Back then, Feraligatr suffered from Water being special and Typhlosion had nothing on him that made him unique.

You must be crazy. Sceptile had Leaf Blade, although admittedly it was the worst of the three (then again Blaziken was the best in-game) and Torterra has Earthquake. For a cheap price you can also get Wood Hammer on it at the Heart Scale tutor. It also has Crunch and moves like Leech Seed and Synthesis.

The games (RSE, DPP) were not difficult with the grass types, I've played through multiple times. FRLG was also not difficult with Venusaur, either.

Chikorita only had a problem in-game because of the first 2 gyms. I traded a baby Ancient Power Chikorita to HG and it plowed through the whole game.

Wattson's gym has really tough with Sceptile because it couldn't do anything but Fury Cutter...Makuhita was the only thing you could do to beat wattson without your starter

You guys are all interp-ing the grass one incorrectly. The rounded part of the head (facing right) is the mouth, and the point (facing left) is the tapered end of the head, like a horn.

Are you sure, it could also be some kind of beak or something, like Carnavine has.

I really want to see

I really want to see dunsparce with an evolution. I mean come on. Those wings need to go SOMEWHERE!
thx.
Everyone wants to see Dragon Dunsparce evo.....But I doubt he will get one. They need to make an attack that's the same as Magnet Rise, but more spread. Beedrill, Dustox, Venomoth, Dunesparce Wigglytuff, Palkia, Dilaga, Darkrai, should all be immune to ground attacks......

I don't see Wigglytuff, Dunsparce, Palkia, and Dialga being immune to Ground. They don't float around enough. The Magne- family should but no...they get Sturdy. That's why everyone uses Magnet Pull. If they gave them Levitate, you might get some non-Steel-trapping Magne-s.

I didn't mean have the ability levitate, I mean they should make a new attack that does the same thing as Magnet Rise. Immunity to ground attacks for 5 turns. Dunsparce and Wigglytuff float around on occasion....

Yea, I know. I started going on a tangent to abilities. I know Dunsparce and lift itself off the ground for a few seconds but that's not really enough to make him immune to Ground...Wigglytuff, I've never heard of it floating. What it should get is an extremely powerful move to make up for its poor offense that's the thing it does in Mystery Dungeon where it goes "YOOM TAH!"

Wigglytuff can float for a while according to the TV show and all it's Pokedex entries (and on SSBB, Jigglypuff can really float far).

Good Candidate for Huge Power, too.

That WOULD be the best physical wall, however pure water doesn't offer much on the support side of things (hence why Swampert is OU-ground typing-Stealth Rock, Roar, etc) so I don't think it would see much use. In UU where Chansey is the best special wall, I could see it being useful because Registeel and Steelix are weak to fighting-just like Chansey. However, given the fact that this pokemon can literally tank ANY physical hit (Leaf Blade and ThunderPunch are the two most powerful SE physical attacks), I could see it being banned for the defensive characteristic.
