Guys if the pictures aren't fake then the info isnt fake. So it's higly probable of them being grass/fight, fire/dark and water/psy.
 
Wow.. did we call it or what? I'm pretty sure we had guesses that looked just like these. I'm so proud.

Fire Starter ftw though. Love the color scheme.

Water looks like crap as I expected.. and Grass.. has potential to be badass.. depending on colors later on.. and eyes.

CoroCoro was going to reveal how to get Zorua/Zoroark in B/W, but there's no scans about it yet.

My problem with the water guy is that there's too much going on him. Grass has three colors, nice. Fire has four, cool, that's fine too. But Water has FIVE. And they're completely out of balance. And then there's that bigass nose. Seriously, what. Had it been smaller, or at least the same color of the belly, or of the shell, I'm sure half the people hating/disliking him would be on the other camp right now. I know I would.
 
No. We don't need another Houndoom. Especially a bulky one. Fire needs to stop its reign. Grass must take over. I know it looks horrible, but just wait.

As for my predictions, otter was right. NOT a bird was right (i think?) and pig bunny everyone said.

I want Grass/Electric, Fire/Ground, and Water will be paired with ice. Obvious.
 
The new Region Ishuu seems to be based off of Kyuushuu (Japans South West Island) from it's harbours.
Due to it's close proximity to Shikoku (Heonn in the games) I'm thinking this maybe linked like Gold/Silver to Red/Blue. (also due to the older looking players)
I think this will make the game VERY interesting (story line wise) and they'll be bringing back Diving and that stuff

P.S I'm surprised by how accurate "Cshadows" Illustrations were [well done] :D
 
I really like the fire and the grass starters, especially the fire starter (I mean, come on it's a pig lol)
The water starter looks kinda meh-ish if you ask me but we can still hope that it will have a cool evolution.

Grass/electric (awesome water pwnage)
But the fire looks more phsychic (like grumpig) or electric than ground
Water (being a bear) I'm hoping for fighting, though the colors suggest ice :(

When I first saw them I was just like "WTF?!? PLS NO!!!" But the longer I keep looking at them, the more I like them =)

Grass: The head looks a bit like Cyndaquil's but... wayne, Cyndaquil is damn cute! x3 BUT: The grass starter's eyes looks like it just smoke some grass (maybe its tail is some kind of drug? haha xD) and I hope these yellow ... things won't become wings (unless grass/dragon would be the typing, then they would be ok), but pls no grass/flying! I actually think, Grass/Electric is possible :O

Fire: Cool, a fire pig =D It will become a Fire/Dark or Fire/Ground pkmn imo. I'm hoping for the latter, though because we already have Houndoom and 25% SR-Dmg just sucks (it´s not that important In-Game, but competitively ...). Here a BUT agian: When we first saw Chimchar, a lot of people already saw a big gorilla but al we got was a thin monkey :S Nevertheless, I'm hoping for a boar, yeah!

Water: Looks kinda retarded, a platypus would have been so damn cool but what the hell is this thing? It doesn't look like a bear to me. Hopefully this isn'T going to be Water/Ice... I have no idea for other typing here, though but everything besides Water/Ice is perfectly fine imo :S Because this one looks so weird, I can imagine the last evolution being very cool, lol.

I almost alwaays chose the Water-starter, but since D/P, Fire seems to become cooler and cooler (I´ll probably pick the fire-pig ^^), while Water becomes more and more retarded =(

All in all: They are ok!
 
Oh, I wake up and find that the starters have been revealed ^_^ My opinion.

Grass Starter: o.o I really had my hopes up for a grass type based on a bird but they decided to redesign Treecko. It reminds me so much of a Geico commerical. I'm really disappointed in it.

Fire Starter: I really like it alot, it's different and I'm actually looking forward to what it'll evolve into.

Water Starter: Contrary to most of the opinion I've seen, I actually like this one the best. I think it's extremely cute and I like all of the color's going into it. I'm going to pick this one when B/W come out.

Yeah, I agree. The freckles below the eyes also annoy me. I think it just looks too creepy and 'ugly' to be a starter, oh well.
 
From what I'm assuming, the fire starter will be fire/dark or fire/ground, maybe fire/fighting (Please Gamefreak, nooooo!)

The water starter will probably be water/ice like what everyone else says, but I'm thinking that it may be pure water...

As for the grass... that one is very difficult for me to assume its typing. Dragon or electric look the most obvious to me, however, I can see him being mono-grass too.
 
The first evolutions will probably just have one type... It's always been that way, I don't think they change it now.
 
The water starter's coloration is absolutely terrible. I personally can't stand the all white head and the clam shell on its belly. Overall I don't expect its evolution to be as cool as Floatzel, and its color scheme does not seem to give any dual type possibilities except ice.

The fire starter is palatable, its color scheme is neither good nor bad. I can imagine it getting a badass evolution. warthog with hug tusks and flaming mane?

The grass starter is by far the best looking of the starters. I just hope its evolved form is different than sckeptile in how it looks and how it plays.

Also checking the new protagonist's art they seem to be very well designed. They look more mature than before.

Overall I am mostly happy with the art so far, but the water type is a great disappointment.

i dont see a pig evolving into anything thin
 
I like the Grass starter. It has the same colors as Flygon(Green/Yellow). Don't see Grass/Fighting, but Grass/Electric has some merit with the look, would be cool, and has not been done before. Swampert AND Gyarados would be DEAD if this is the typing. Reminds me of Treecko and it's evolutions. In other words, fast-ninja-grass-lizard pokemon.

The Fire starter is meh. I never liked Fire pokemon. I never liked Fire anything in RPGs. The only Fire-type I like is Torkoal. As far as Fire-types go, however, I do like the design. I am hoping it is not pure Fire or Fire/Dark. They have been done before. Begging for not another Fire/Fighting, but I don't see ANY possibility of that with a pig. Fire/Ground was done with Camerupt. Fire/Psychic sounds cool, but I don't see the possibility either. To me, no typing, even pure fire, doesn't seem to be a good fit. Fire/Poison, Fire/Normal, Fire/Ground, Fire/Rock, Fire/Steel... these seem like options. While nothing to me fits, I would like Fire/Poison.

The Water starter is... NO. Don't like the design. The otter theme is good, but they made it wrong IMO. Snowman-ish head makes me believe in Water/Ice which has been done a lot. I don't want it to happen, but I am seeing that this pokemon, when fully evolved, will be a Walrein in a retarded Empoleon suit.

Characters look... good. Nuff said.

Am hoping for, at the very least, starter types that have not been done before. At the most, Grass/Electric, Fire/Poison, and a unique Water/??? that is not Ice.
 
I usually take my pick because of cuteness factor, (charmander, turtwig) so I will def. be taking the water-bear! So cuddly! So cute! ^_^

Mark my words, it will be akin to Slowbro/King and become a OU wall water/psychic with amazing defenses, HP and a wide movepool. Just watch, cute water-bear haters! Atleast, this is just what I'm hoping.. And hopefully, it won't be a snail~ I'm thinking the pig will be the slowest, the water bear will have a decent speed for support and the grass one will be blazing fast ala Sceptile.
 
Water is a bit strange looking, but out of last gen's starters, I really only liked Piplup, and I ended up liking the final forms of the other two more.

But fire and grass look awesome. So awesome in fact that...

Also, did anybody notice the arrow from the HGSS and Pt playable characters to the new characters? Can somebody tell me what that text there means? Does it just say that the new trainers will be older, or does it say something else? If anybody knows Japanese, I would appreciate if they told me what it meant.
 
I'm thrilled the game is going in a more edgier and mature direction. Older trainers.. the Pokemon seem to have a completely new feel to them, I'm really excited to get this going.

But seriously.. that Water Starter looks so ridiculous.. I don't see any hope for it turning into anything sick. Even with Piplup.. the possibilities seemed good, and it turned into my favorite water.

But man.. Grass really.. really looks like the best chance to have a starter turn into a Dragon second typing.. and im slowly turning to Grass this gen.

The Fire Starter has a sick color scheme.. and I'm a fan of the look.. but I really can't see anything too great coming from it.. type-wise. We've never seen a Fire Starter that has 4 feet and NEEDS them. So that right there limits the movepool and typing. [Stomp anyone]


And btw.. I do not want the Grass Starter to be Grass/Electric. I'd really like to have Grass resist Earthquake, rather than have more Pokemon to add more to Grounds ownage.

first game where I pick grass! Hope it becomes part dragon, Although grass just makes it more weak to steel and probably prevents it from getting fire moves...

Grass/Electric resists Electric, Grass, Steel and Water but also can spam powerful electric attacks. If a ground type switches in it can use a grass attack or HP Ice (Flygon, Gliscor). Offensively it is quite potent.
