Oh. I was thinking defensive behemoth w/ incredible lasting power as to not need instant recovery even if it is hit hard in the Hail....AKA Walrein multiplied by 8

Just like Walrein. <_<

Hailwhore.

@Kristy Haruka: Like Water Absorb?

Oh god, we're so greedy for more information we're making pokemon again. When will we be satiated?

Mmm that works. ^_^

And its fun to make new Pokemon! So many common animal species haven't been explored: dolphin, squid, zebra, okapi, gazelle, polar bear, narwhal, mosquito, panda, etc.

Anyone else think it's time Sudowoodo gets an evo? Trees should be large not small and stumpy D:

Edit: I think Rock/Grass would be a neat typing for it, definitely unique, as well. And knocks off it's ground and water weakness.

I wouldn't call that stumpy. Sudowoodo seems a bit anorexic.

It reminds me of Roserade and Gardeavor which is why I insist it is a Psychic type.

Roserade is Grass/Poison, but I see where you're coming from. Psychic actually makes the most sense to me too, besides Poison, which I disregarded because I doubt they would use such an over used typing.

I have to admit, I was not fond of any of the starters at first. I thought any five year old could come up with said drawings. Now that I have taken a closer look, I am starting to like them. I have specially developed an affinity towards the water starter. Looks like I will continue picking the water starter as always.

Also, fan art of Mijimaru is indeed be very cute!

Just take a look:

It's looking more and more like an otter..

The top picture is like a typical otter picture but they drew the designs of that Pokemon on top of it. Any bit of cuteness on it would be because of the real otter's cuteness, not the Pokemon. The mouth opened is from the real otter.

The bottom picture looks like a sad clown floating. Unhappy things aren't cute.

Not true at all! Sad stuff tends to be at least as cute as normal stuff. Crying kittens are adorable.

eh... haha... Everyone has different tastes. It's kinda like how I am absolutely appalled by monkeys and some people love them. I don't see it but they do. This is like the same thing.

I hope for more Technician pokes with at least 100 Attack or Sp.Atk. base stats.

And also more No Guard pokes with at least 100 Attack or Sp.Atk., and be able to learn those inaccurate but powerful moves like Iron Tail, Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast, Focus Blast, etc...
Hopefully no OHKO moves for them, or battling will be too cheap.

And possibly Tri Attack TM or Move Tutor, especially for Togekiss, which benefits from that HAX effect, along with Air Slash. Speaking of flying types, Game Freak must make 100% accurate Special Flying-type attacks with at least 80 base power, and 100% accurate Physical Rock-type attacks.

Hopefully, some NU or UU Pokes will have an evolution...like Dunsparce or Jynx.
And if there are new Magic Guard pokes, they must have very good stats, unlike Clefable.

I'm really starting to like the water starter, I think it's because everyone is hating on it. It's like the deformed cat that you found on the street that nobody, and you saw it's true beauty. Really it's the first pokemon that I truly want to hug.(Man I sound so wimpy xD)

lol, I know.
It wants to be tickled.
Then it would have to laugh.

It's character is rather different from the the other two starters but is probably the most appealing on its own.
I think it will be a popular choice in the final analysis.

You know.. gamefreak knows that no matter what they make the starters.. it will inevitably grow on people.. it sucks.. but its true.

Even I hated the water starter.. like really hated it.. but now i see pics and fan arts and im like, "its pretty fucking cool."

I officially love them all. Dammit.

i would not mind something like this.

Mijumaru kind of reminds me of the carebears actually.
I think it's the shell on the tummy that does it.

BTW, according to Serebii:

We also appear to have some clarification on the new ability Illusion. The official site states Zoroark will appear as a different Pokémon when it enters battle. The name of the opponent is different to hide the fact that it is Zoroark, but the type remains Dark.
It also appears that the sprites move slightly when attacking. To what extent remains unclear.
How it decides what to look like is not clear.
[Is it always Riakou, Suicune or Entei?]
But apparently, it's just a bluff.

Back on the subject of zoroark, here's how im hoping the ability works;

When Zoroak switches in, It become a pokemon of your choice from the ones you have seen on your and your opponents team (So if they had not switched a pokemon in, you could not become it). If it was hit by an attack both the pokemon (Zoroark and his illusion) were neutral to, the illusion would remain, but if it was hit by a move that should be super effective/nve/neutral but isn't, the illusion breaks.

The pictures of the battle scenes look absolutely awful!

If you look here: http://serebii.net/blackwhite/pics.shtml
The pictures labeled "Zorua vs Zoroark" (under the 5/13 date) show not only ugly platforms that the Pokemon are standing on, but the sprites themselves look pixely, and horribly shaded. I'm praying that this is shot is prototypical and that there will be more development.

Also, there seems to be two different battle scenes; one with the 3-d settings where the entire Pokemon are both visible, and one with the standard setting we have come to know. Why are there two settings, and do we know what circumstances under which they are used?

Come to think of it, moves/abilities with special interaction aren't so Farfecth'd after Chatot's Chatter.
Probably the best way the ability coud work is if you're allowed to select, while out of battle, any seen Pokemon in your Pokedex for Zoroark to appear as when it switches in.

It won't be convincing as Gyarados without Intimidate but it could pull of a Starmie.
Then it could hit a spin blocking Rotom-A with a STAB Dark before the real spinner comes in.
Zoroark might turn out to be the concept of bluffing/baiting personified and inserted directly into the game of Pokemon.
