Modest Milotic@ Life Orb with
Surf/HP Electric/ Hypnosis or Ice Beam/ Recover

Spread #1 is from the analysis: 152 HP/80 Defense/220 SpAtk/56 Speed...
It gives Milotic 212 Speed to outrun most slow guys, enormous special attack with life orb, and average defenses

Spread #2, one of my friends has been working on for me: 252 HP/168 Defense/88 Special Attack... It gives Milotic wonderful defenses and above average special attack... 394 HP/236 Defense/286 Special Defense takes a good amount of hits and 282 Special Attack with the Life Orb is enough to OHKO or 2HKO some major threats...

Spread #3 was also made by a friend: 68 Def/252 Spatk/190 speed... It gives Milotic 211 Defense, 328 Special Attack, and 244 Speed... However instead of outfitting it with a Life Orb, Milotic gets a Salac Berry, so that it can attack until its HP is relatively low, then use recover after the Salac Berry activates, letting it outspeed (even max speed Latias) and then truly sweep.

So...
A. Which spread do I go with in OU?
B. Would said moveset like Ice Beam or Hypnosis?

?

hi guys I'm new to this forum and i have a question, how do you guys get so many of your pokemon to level 100? do you guys actually train them up legit or just use some sort of hacking program to do it? and if so, what do you use?

Once you trade to another game and use a lucky egg, you can essentially level up in half the time. However, most of the time you do not need to level al the way up, since many battle modes adjust your level automatically.

oh really? so i can use a level 50 pokemon and there are battle modes that make it level 100?

On Wifi, you can set the levels as is, to level 50, or to level 100. Stats will be scaled to the set level if you choose level 50 or 100.

In local wireless battles, HG/SS have options to downscale Pokemon to level 50. Lower level Pokemon are not upscaled AFAIK. You also have the as is option. D/P/Pt only have as is for local wireless.

So is Latias gone from OU now?
I'm not keen on OU tiering

Yes. It hasn't been removed yet from the Shoddy Battle ladder, but it will be soon. You seem to be a Wi-Fi battler, and since the decision was announced earlier, it's probable Wi-Fiers haven't had the time to adjust, what with team changes and all. I'd say keep battling with Latias (unless your opponent explicitly bars its usage) until an announcement is made by one of the Wi-Fi moderators.

does anyone know where i can download warmachine? I just had a awesome game i would like to warstory.
thanks!

Here.

is this supposed to happen?

I keep hearing about "illegal IV's" on pokemon, like this groudon I saw on the give away forums. I am soft-resetting for a Kyogre in sapphire and I was wondering, what are the restrictions on this? how good can it get?

@ Coolking49: these berries only activate when the move is super effective.

I don't really get that thing. It says Kyogre has restricted IV/Nature thing, but it doesnt tell me in what way. Unless it means near perfect IVs with maybe 1 off in a few? :s

I listed weaknesses and what-not because it was a direct C/P from my Notepad file. I'm trying to think of a solid UU team, it's mostly defensive and trying to aid CurseLix in his sweep by getting rid of nasty obstacles. Magmortar has T-Bolt AND HP Grass to deal with a lot of Pokemon to give ol 'Lix hell.

Things look okay so far? NOTE: This doesn't go in the RMT section, it isn't a complete team.
Reposting. Really would like an answer. I got most of their sets worked out but I don't even know if this would be a good defensive team (minus Magmortar, he's there to powerhouse through exceptionally strong walls).

EDIT: I'm a Wi-Fi UU Battler, by the way.

Rather than listing the Pokemon and their resistances (since we can easily plug that into Marriland's team builder), posting their sets would be better so we can determine your problems.

What would be some good counters for a Cresselia on a mono-type fighting team with no wild-cards? (list the whole set, don't just say durr.. Luke Skywalker, please)

Or rather... going into the RMT forum =x Though marthy is entirely correct.

Vratix: No Fighting-types enjoy switching in, but you can use Spore Breloom to put it to sleep, Megahorn Heracross to kill it, or Swords Dance (Night Slash or X Scissor) Gallade to hurt it, though you have to be careful of status.

The glitch means that grass knot does not get boosted by item like life orb although i am not sure if it affects low kick as well

If I have a togepi w/ hustle in a 3rd generation game, and migrate it to a 4th gen. Is it possible for it to have serene grace when it evolves?

Thanks.

Only if it was obtained in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness (or Colosseum). If you bred it normally, it will stay as Hustle.

i was thinking of making a sub-punch blaziken for OU and i was suprised to find out that there isnt a moveset for it. So with that said, can anybody help me out for deciding an ev spread for a sub-puch blaziken? You can p.m. me if you preffer.

This is the moveset i have planned:
Blaziken @leftovers
Nature: Adament EV: ???
~substitute
~focus punch
~flare blitz/ blaze kick
~thunder punch/ baton pass/ ???

4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe. You aren't using special attacks, want to maximise your damage output, and have no need for bulk, given Blaziken's role and frailty. IMO, switch to Jolly to beat the very common Adamant Gyarados (when unboosted, of course, especially if you're using ThunderPunch), Smeargle, and non-Scarf Heatran, and tie with Dragonite, Mamoswine, and Togekiss. Mamoswine runs a non-+Spe nature around 40%+ of the time, Togekiss uses Timid 15% of the time, and Jolly Dragonite doesn't even figure in the stats, so you're probably beating them more often than not as well.

there is no need for jolly nature IMO, he is suppose to get a sub when forcing a switch and focus punch got negative priority, once behind a sub there is little to no problem in being slower. adamant give a lot of power and make focus punch stronger then gallade/heracross CC.

I know Focus Punch has negative priority, but it really needs to function apart from a SubPuncher imo. But it's really up to the user: power vs. speed.
