Pokémon Anime- Major Problems?

Yesterday I watched an quite old episode of Pokémon (don't ask why) and I saw some big flaws... Despite the fact Pokémon isn't real, let's use some of our imagination and let's pretend for a second or two that it is. First of all, in the continents of Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/Sinnoh every people tells you too take care of the Pokémons and cherrish them with the bottom of your heart and everyone apparently does so (putting aside the evil teams ruled by some crazy maniac who can obviously afford a new giant robot each day). This is where I encounter the first problem: in the magical world of Pokémons people apparently eat meat. But how do they get the meat if there are no animals at all? Do they actually kill some Miltanks and there we go some good hamburgers? Seems quite barbaric too me considering that in the world of Pokémon it's bad to even hit with a stick a Pokémon that is trying to attack you because you might hurt him. Second problem is with the pokedex. When you hear it saying ''Pikachu, the electric mouse Pokémon...'' how can they know what a mouse is if there are no animals?

Anyway just thought I might point these errors out, what do you guys think about that?

Ash is clearly a hacker. How else was he able to defeat a Scizor with a Bayleef only using 2 grass moves?

Clearly his Bayleef was choice specs, max special attack, in Overgrow range and the Scizor was hurt by Stealth Rock when entering the battle and was minimum special defense and minimum HP and I don't know man he haxed life.

Hey guys, if I stick a fork into an electrical socket will I gain thunder armor? That stuff was so cool, why doesn't Ash use it anymore?

Yeah, there are big plot holes. Then again, in the games, the player character never eats or drinks at all - which may explain why they never go to the toilet either. At least other RPGs have Inns, where you can assume the characters wash, eat, and excrete even though it's not shown on-screen.

Typically, they eat some type of bird meat in the anime, or so it would seem. Not to mention in the games, they mention that Slowpoke tails are delicacies.

They used to have an entire series on Youtube pointing out the flaws from old Pokemon episodes, I think it was called WTF Pokemon or something.

Also how come people act like pokemon from a new region were like new or just discovered, I mean they must have known about those pokemon if the area is well developed and people live in them, how come other regions haven't even heard of them?

@ Skymin_Flower

I dont think it was cooked Magikarp in that episode with the Ponyta race. It looked like some sort of bread? cookie with a hollow inside? shaped like Magikarp.

I remember in D/P/Pt a book described humans and pokemon and whatnot. It said thank pokemon for the food they provided and pick their bones clean. Then send the bones to the sea so that they may be renewed. It was in the library in Canalave iirc.
