Hey guys, I am using the standard Stall Breaker Gliscor as my lead in my RMT [in sig], and people have suggested running 252 HP / 252 Spe, this is the Stall Breaker set from the analysis

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Jolly - Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
~ Earthquake
~ Taunt
~ Roost
~ Stealth Rock

Just wondering what the 40 Def EVs actually do, or are they just leftovers from the max HP and the Speed outrunning Lucario?

I've got an epic battle from Atlanta recorded on my Battle Recorder, which I'd like to share with everyone. Is there a way to upload it on Youtube?

Does anyone have advice/instructions to upload it?

I do have a way to xfer my save file to my PC,if that's helpful.

i was just curious is rock slide better or stone edge. i have been using stone edge but the accuracy has cost me many matches. any advice would greatly be appreciated.

@Ken, its a preference thing, Stone Edge has much higher power, but also lower accuracy and much lower PP. I personally look at it like this:
1.) Is stone edge netting me any KOs over Rock Slide?
2.) Is the pokemon viable with Rock Slide, just as Discharge is not appropriate on standard Jolteon, with Jolteon its usually kill or be killed, it needs as much power as possible, of course the idea is different in terms of just power there.

Okay is it true, that BL Pokemon can only be use in OU?

Also, what IVs should I look for in Abomasnow?

yes, pokemon in lower tiers can be used in higher tiers, but not the other way around. so BL can use in OU and ubers

generally speed and spA/atk depending on which set. but of course if its a bulky spread 31 HP will be nice too

Like Aurabreloom said that depends on the set you want to use. I myself suggest a bulky spread (specially) for Subseeding so good HP and SDef IV's are appreciated.

I see. Well I am playing on making him a sweeper. I plan to use Ninjask for the speed boost and sword dance, then move into a fitted choice.

Would a team like this work?

Ninjask
Abomasnow
Ursaring
Froslass
Scizor
(Filler or Wall)

oh well, thanks anyway, if anyone else could explain to me how bits work in musics i would appreciate.
No, I can't, but I can take a stab at it. I think the bits probably have something to do with how much data can be processed simultaneously. 8 bits isn't a whole lot. So the music would need to be made simple so it can pass under the technological limits imposed by only 8 bits. That would limit music mostly to simple frequencies. More bits mean more data, like stereo sound (can have two completely different sets of music, one for each speaker) or sound samples (like a recording of a horn playing normal C, and then the frequency gets tweaked to produce different notes).

On top of all that, I admittedly don't know jack about this, so I could be completely off my rocker, but that's my guess.

Hi people.
Back when I started playing competetively (About midway between the releases of DP and platinum), most Blissey sets ran 252Def/252HP@Bold as standard until it got replaced by more SpDef-orientated spreads like 252Def/176SpDef@Calm. However I've just checked the analysis page to see the original spread is back as the recommended spread. I was just wondering what brought this on? I'm assuming the banning of latias (good riddance) had something to do with it, or is it another reason?

How are the IVs of in-game traded Pokemon determined?
I would assume through an RNG, like everything else.

My question:
I have question about overcentralization: if a pokemon is deemed as overcentralizing, is that enough to get it banned to either BL (in UU) or Ubers (in OU)?

I think it's a bad idea in general to maximize Defense on Blissey, it's redundant. If you want a physically bulky Pokémon, use one with a base Defense higher than 10, save Blissey for being specially bulky, leave physical Defense to something else. That's my opinion at least

I wrote the Blissey analysis, and it's mainly because no one uses large special threats like Choice Specs Heatran and Lucario anymore, even moreso with the recent Latias ban. Also, 252 HP / 252 Def lets Blissey be as overall defensive as it needs to be and lets it be about as defensive as a 252 HP / 252 Def Spiritomb (can't remember if that includes Bold or not).

Just a quick question..

If I trade any Pokemon I have from HS/SS to someone else with Pokesav, they'll be able to check my SID from just that one pokemon? No other things necessary with Pokesav?

Or does the pokemon have to be a shiny, or it has to be above a certain level?

I already caught my red gyarados :( and I don't think I have the patience to try for a 1/8000 something shiny.

Where's that thread that shows you statistics about which pokemon were most commonly switched in to counter another?

Shurokun:

The answer is no. Milk Drink's description is "User gains half of total HP. Fails if user's HP is full." It only affects the user.

I am just getting into competitive battling and and currently working on breeding my team and am wondering how importing ivs are. I know your team and how well you play is the most important factor in deciding a match, but I have a gengar with 4def/8spDef ivs(max spAtk/spe iv) and am wondering if I should breed one with higher defensive stats.

Let's just say that both the opponent and the defendant decide to switch out their Pokemon on the same turn. Who will switch out first?

I know you may think it doesn't matter, but I was wondering if I were to switch first and switch in my Wobbuffet, will the opponent be trapped.
