US Regional Qualifier - Newark, NJ, June 12th, 2010 - WON BY TTS

It's now just 2 more days until Newark as it looks like a great day to be indoors at least. While it's my understanding no U.S. regional has yet to reach the 768 cap limit, based on last year's Philadelphia experience, I still expect an overwhelming turnout and shall try to get there early enough.

Yeah, I'll be getting there at least 3 hours early, perhaps a bit earlier if I can manage to get my friend to wake up earlier.
 
I was planning on going but I decided not to because the team I was planning on using is approximately 0% complete, and as an *cough*excuse*cough*, I have to go with my parents somewhere else.... I'm just going to stop by and get a shiny eevee.
 
I'll be there, for sure.
I'm super excited. Though I'm sure the turnout is going to be a LOT more, since its easier for people to travel to. [I'll be traveling by public transportation from New York.]
 
I'll be there. The team is done (shoutouts to everyone that helped with that in my warstory afterwards).

I'll most likely be going fly. Probably a polo or button-down with khakis or something. That's how I roll. Or a vVv shirt, depends on the situation.
 
I'm gonna be there fosho. I'm going by myself because none of my friends wanna go because they have an Anime Con to go to next week. (AnimeNext,which I'm also going to) So they don't wanna spend money or whatever, which is retarded because you don't have to pay to get in I'm assuming. I won't be participating but I just wanna watch and learn.

I also saw the petition on Mobo's signature;that's really fricken unfair. I was gonna sign it but I guess I'm too late since its close.
 
Was just raining in NJ. I live around 10 miles away from where the VGC is going to take place, hoping the weather will not be like this Saturday, but you never know, NJ is a really messed up state sometimes when it comes to weather.

Really? The constant back and forth between temperatures in the high 30s/low 40s and temperatures in the high 80s this spring never would've clued me in to that >_>

I love the sarcastic comment so I'll have some of my own!

I know RIGHT! This entire year in the Winter never clued me in on that! Especially that storm at New York/Jersey! The temperatures also changing like that! What am I supposed to be a meteorologist! The weather obviously was constant!

I don't know,yo.I just saw that petition and went batshit over it.xD I knew that 700 something people could enter but the petition made it seem like they could sign up but not all of them could participate due to random numbers being drawn out.

And yeah,the weather is fricken retarded.Today,it was all sunny and whatever and when I got out of school,it was pouring and it stopped as soon as I got into my dad's car.(By that time,I was soaking wet) I know the place where the tournament is gonna be;I went there for an Anime con about 3 years back.There's not much to see outside other than if I recall correctly,a McDonalds and a sushi place.There's also a grass area to hang out or whatever but that's about it.
 
It's been pretty weird up here in CT.

But, I will say that I'd rather it be cooler or even raining rather than very hot and/or humid. Getting wet is the least of my problems compared to being uncomfortable in the heat.

Plus, we'll be inside all day besides standing in line, and then you move inside anyways. No biggie.

I'd agree with that if it wasn't New Jersey, you can never really predict the weather here!

In other news: I just finished EV training my team and am about to import Rare Candies I cloned on my Emerald to my HG to finish it all up!

The petition was from last year, when myself and many others got screwed out of a chance to play =/
 
I cannot wait to go to this tournament. I doubt that this tournament will attract 1000 people but coming a few hours earlier will not hurt. It would be funny if someone decided to camp overnight.
