I don't think I've ever effectively used a Choice Scarf outside of Trick, so I'll let somebody else answer that. However, your team does seem well rounded so far, I would maybe suggest something like Empoleon to deal with the likes of Starmie

Seeing you're weak to Gyarados, Salamence and Lucario/ Scizor an elemental punch Jirachi could work (Fire-, Ice-, ThunderPunch, Iron Head).

It either means their highest CRE obtained, or the highest average rating obtained, never the two extreme numbers you see when you view your record.

I believe average rating is more accurate, so people should quote the highest average rating they hit, but not everyone do that.
 
Hello everyone and uhhh I've almost finished my platinum cart here , I had actually restarted it after getting into competitive a bit because I wanted to get all the pr0 legendaries with the correct natures and yes I did mass-catch some abras and currently the legendary pokes I have right now are....

Azelf-Naive(Lead Purposes)
Uxie-Impish(Dual Screen)
Mesprit-Didnt catch him yet still no Timid Abra
Rotom-Modest(Choice Scarf set)
Articuno-?
Dialga-?
Palkia-?
Giratina-?(Yes i KO'd him in Distortion world but I do believe I can refight him as Normal Forme in Turnback cave)
Zapdos-?
Moltres-?

So yeah basically the only abras I dont have yet are Timid/Adamant , but I guess that doesnt really matter because I'll get them really soon.So as for the pokemon with the -? next to their names I really dont know what natures to catch them with....I know each nature or set serves a purpose , but you might as well just tell me the most common one.

Another thing is Im going to transfer all my abras and legendaries after Im done with this part to my HG Cart , so I was thinking what other pokemon are worth catching with syncronize in Pt then transfering them to HG for later wi-fi purposes.

So far I only know that Gible and Bagon are some of the ones that are worth it , Larvitar can be gotten in HG itself...

So please state me those as well with the most common nature used.

I have toxic spikes, spikes, stealth rock, hypnosis, and willow wisp on my stall team...
What does my Cleric Blissey want for it's last two slots? Would Thunder Wave or Toxic on it be overkill? SHould I use Flamethrower for Scizor, Magnezone, and Gengar or Seismic Toss for Heatran?

That is the Hitting and Verifying your target times section. Anyone willing to make them clearer for me?

I would also like to ask a new question: Are Pokemon originated from pirated copies of official Pokemon games legit?

I have some GBA Pokemon games placed in a black cartridge (instead of the color of the official games' catridge) that I found in a hotel and someone told me they're pirated copies. I would like to know whether the Pokemon originated from these games are allowed to circulate in this community. As far as I know, they act exactly like the original games (these games can even trade with the original copies without problems), except that:

  1. they're placed in a different cartridge;
  2. when you are about to restart a saved file, it says "The game file will now be loaded";
  3. they can't be used for the Dongle method or for the Pal Park;
Another question: Are hatched Pokemon originated from at least one parent that came from a pirated copy of an official Pokemon game legit and allowed to circulate in this community without problems?
 
What's the minimum base speed that a scarfed pokemon should have to outspeed 100 base pokes?
Both with max speed, mine with positive nature and the foe with neutral

I estimate 42, but Cradily is the first Pokémon with base Speed above 40, and Cradily has 43 base Speed. So a +Spe nature 252 Spe EV Pokémon with a base Speed of 43 or higher using a Choice Scarf outspeeds a Pokémon without a +Spe nature and 252 Spe EVs and 100 base Speed

If you are playing Heart gold go up the stairs behind the healing area and the right door is very local no restriction play. If the question is "how do you have a lvl 100 battle with pokemon under lvl 100?" then it is wifi only.

LOL In game team! Torkoal sounds better! Swampert can take all the Rock, Water and Ground type attacks!

So all the 4s touches the edge... say Machop in 207

7. Patches touch the edge of the field, trees, or other obstacles are dangerous! This is very important, even if you get your pokemon it can still break your chain. This is because all the patches that would appear after you killed the pokemon can land outside the field. If you didn't understand that, just take my word for it. Because of this, corners are especially dangerous, as they leave less room for patches to appear.

IMO dusknoir is the best replacement for a defensive ghost, possesing similar support movepool(WOW for example) and blocking rapid spin.
 
purple crobatchop: You don't have to activate the pokefinder (or whatever) smack dab in the middle. If you activate it, say, in one of the 1 spots instead of Y, you'll have a chance at getting a 4 spot that isn't touching an edge.
 
Against the standard Flinch Spammers, can Lucario outrun them after one activation of Steadfast, or is Inner Focus a better idea in general?
 
Something I have been wondering for some time, why and how where these introduced? A little backstory would be most heplful.

-Sleep Clause: No two Pokemon may be put to sleep at the same time.
-No OHKOs: Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill and Sheer Cold are all banned.
-No Evasion: Double Team and Minimize are banned.

I'm guessing it was to do with eliminating luck from battles and sleep clause for spore abusers? Was double team such a big problem?
