Well it's not just dinosaurs, remember, but I'm sure Gamefreak could make it work somehow. I never thought I'd see a fire-type chicken and pig, but alas here they are.
why do people want blacks in power in pokemon? We already have a black president, what more can you ask? I say pokemon should remain all white people, blacks just dont fit in with pokemon
The Zubat line, Tetacool line, Machop line, Geodude line, Abra line, Voltorb line, Magikarp line, Goldeen line, Staryu line, Pikachu line, and Psyduck line are the only ones that are in all of the regional Pokedexes (unless I missed one; Staryu isn't in the DP regional dex). Some Pokemon, like Heracross and many 3rd gen Pokemon, have been in all of them since they were introduced.
I lately tought of an AWESOME CONCEPT. A pokemon, in its baby state, whit nothing perticular, being shit if possible, but evolving while holding fossils.
It could then get stats similar to the fossil pokemon's.
For example, if holding the helix fossil, it would be like the same baby thing, just looking more mature and having a curved shell and having better stats in Def and Sp Atk.
With the Old Amber, it would grow stone wings and be better in the speed and physical offensive departement.
With the Root Fossil, It would have tentacles or something and would be a slow and defensively oriented pokemon.
etc.
Thoughts?

I find that offensive,I am black. But anyways,we won't be seeeing many black people in Pokemon anytime soon.I mean, this is japan we're talking about, they're no blacks there. So,it kinda makes sense that there won't be much in a Pokemon game.Hell,we've only got two,IIRC.Brock and Dahlia.
Why can't a black person be a Pokemon Trainer? Because I recall a black Nurse Joy. With a huge ass Magikarp.
I knew I was forgetting someone: Zubat, Pikachu, and Goldeen!
But if we're counting the safari zone, doesn't that also give us the Rhyhorn and Doduo lines?

Let's face it, GF is racist. The proof is in the kanto dex: Jynx.
If you really get down to it, pokemon are essentially the trainer's battling slaves in-game, (screw the anime) and then we have Jynx as one of those enslaveable pokemon. A black, female pokemon who is labeled "humanshape" in the pokedex and whose signature attack is called "Lovely Kiss".
Call me crazy, but if Lincoln or any of the abolitionists from his time saw this, they'd be pissed. I'm pissed just thinking about it.
Calling GF racist >.> I say we move off this subject before a flamewar begins.Let's face it, GF is racist. The proof is in the kanto dex: Jynx.

Roark and Byron are a really nice contrast, even in-game and their signature Pokemon. I think it's really interesting. Roark is the best Gym Leader ever though. I remember, a looooooooong time ago, someone actually explained the strategy Roark was programmed to use. Something like setting Stealth Rock and then phazing with Onix's Screech, but if you try to switch out normal or something, he would just Pursuit with Cranidos? Can someone refresh my memory?
Okay, sorry. ._.
On another note, I'd LOVE to see more branch evo paths for more pokemon (like with wurmple or Gloom, for example)
Burmy's path is my favourite branched evolution so far, think how awesome it would be with a better pokemon. Expecially handy for ingame playthroughs.
Like my old Ant idea.
You know, speaking of, and to go off topic, did anyone EVER figure out what determines Wurmple's evolution, if anything?
Even or odd PIDs.
