I guess we will.

You know what I find weird? I think we had an Electric-Dragon type in the CAP metagame, and now they're making a signature legendary that exact type. Kind of odd if you ask me. Coincidence?

On another note, I would love it if certain items got overowrldly effects. For example, leftovers would act as a poison in reverse, healing the holder by a certain percent every few steps.

I think it's just a case of new type combinations and only a coincidence. There is also a dark/ground CAP and now we have Meguroko, but I doubt that is of any significance. I hope we get more cool type combinations, though.

Yeah. I'd love a normal-ghost, immune to its own STAB combination.

Normal/Ghost would be definitely interesting. Maybe it could be an evolution of Kangaskhan. Didn't one of things die in R/B/Y because of Team Rocket? It could be its ghost or something.

A normal/ghost with priority would be pretty cool.

For those of you talking about Garchomp getting the new Overconfident/EarthquakeSpiral ability, I don't see it happening. You may not have noticed, but every legendary Pokémon has only a single ability. That's always been true. Garchomp isn't technically legendary, but it does share many characteristics with other pseudo-legendary Pokémon: Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, and Metagross. They all only have one ability, and I'm guessing that's not going to change.

I;m personally a fan of Flying/Fighting myself :) Even though it's been said before, a Farfetch'd evolution would be so badass with its leek as a sword (and make it not look lame)

Maybe Encourage just affects Secondary effects that affects the opponent.

"Recoil" effects (Stats Drop, Recoil, etc) may still happen. Also, maybe Encourage affects the opponent. Like, for example, Jirachi's Iron head would not flinch the thing but would have like 144 base power (STAB+Encourage boost 1.2).

This is totally viable as well; especially considering "Encourage" makes more sense here, I hope now that this ape thing is defensive. Otherwise it'd get owned

I would agree with you if it wasnt for two things:

Firstly, Gen 1 is rapidly running out of unevolved things, i mean, really running out of unevolved things.

Secondly, this changed my mind once i saw the reasons why Farfetch'd already doesnt have an evolution

Haha, I had no idea Bulbanews covered it! But it's a good point. Even though I don't like the repeated talk of "Flareon sucks/Fusions/Light Type/X Evo/etc.", that'd be the one thing I'd be happy with. But sometimes things just don't evolve. Plus you're right, everything is evolved. Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Jynx, Pinsir, Tauros, Lapras, and Ditto (lol). I didn't count legends or fossils (Aero), so I mean...7 out of 150 is not very much.

I used to think that a Flying/Fighting would be natural for a Farfetch'd evolution until I found out that the Japanese name for the Fighting type is 'kakutou', which specifically means hand-to-hand fighting.

I personally wanna see that 7 become a big fat ZERO

well after reading that i really like farfetch'd

Ahh. Well, I guess we can finally put to rest the Farfetch'd evo discussion. Of course, someone down the road will bring it back up.

Haha, why? Even though that's probably what will ultimately happen.

I hope that, somehow, RNGing becomes easier. Just for us dumb people that still don't get it.

Also, mass trading. Trading one pokemon at a time is soooooo tedious.

I hope RNG becomes harder to the point of almost being impossible. I want shinies and strong pokemon to actually be rare and valuable

Rock/Grass perhaps? Yes please. Give it Head Smash and it already has Wood Hammer to abuse alongside Rock Head.

That would be epic!

On another note, I think I can guess what the third member of the BW dragon trip is: Dragon/Dark.

Think about it. Dragon/Fire represents natural light, Dragon/Electric represents man-made light so... Dragon/Dark would represent no light at all. Ooh...

But I would love to see a dragon/grass type as this generation's signature dragon. (every generation except for 2 had one) Give it magic guard and you've made up for the bad defensive typing that is grass as well.

On yet another note, I feel that GF NEEDS more variety n its legendaries. It's always some kind if psychic, some kind of dragon, some kind of flyer, etc. They did it good with Heatran and Shaymin (land form that is) but I want more variety. Give us a fighting-typed uber, a poison-typed Uber, a rock-typed uber, a bug-typed uber, stuff like that...

And as for the fighting-flying pokemon thing, I could actually see that as a Swellow Evo, or an alternate for Togetic.
