Transform copies the stat changes of the target, eliminating any already existing on the user.got a question about how transform works
Does statchanges still affect the transform using pokemon after it used transform, like would a +6 atk ditto that transforms into gyarados still have the boost after transforming?
And if i transform into a pokemon with boosted stats would i also receive the stat boost?
The Masuda method of breeding for shinies was named after him because he was the one that revealed that it's there. Basically, if two pokemon from different real-world nations (like America and Japan, or UK and Australia, etc.) are bred together, the offspring are four times more likely to be shiny. The way it works is the game generate's the offspring's personality ID (which, when compared with your Trainer ID and Secret ID, determines shininess). Then it checks to see if the pokemon, when hatched will be shiny. If not, it moves on to the next personality ID. If that one is also not shiny, it moves on to the THIRD personality ID. If that one's not shiny, it moves on to the FOURTH personality ID. If that one's not shiny, the game goes "Ahhh, screw it."No I don't... where can I learn about [the Masuda method]?
The game picks a random number. If the number is equal to or less than the accuracy, then the move hits. If not, it misses. How do accuracy calculations work?
It's only with different language Pokemon. So a UK Pokemon breeding with an Australian Pokemon wouldn't work. The Masuda method of breeding for shinies was named after him because he was the one that revealed that it's there. Spikes, Toxic spikes and Stealth rock can all be on one side of the field at the same time. Can you set up more than 1 entry hazard at once? Like Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock at the same time?

No, passing natures with Synchronize only works if you actually encounter the Pokémon in-game, such as Oak's Letter for Shaymin, or Azure Flute for ArceusDoes the first-in-the-party Synchronize pokemon technique can transmit the pokemon's nature in an event pokemon? Like when I go pickup Jirachi, if i put an Impish Synchronize Ralts first in my party, will the Jirachi's be more likely to be impish?
does any one know when they will finish with salamance in suspect and make a verdict. also is there a chance stealth rocks (or too atleast cap it by 25 %) will be next?
The above scenario produces identical results regardless of the method used. So I'm gonna use a situation with 3 +acc Acupressure vs. 5 Double Teams (+6 acc vs. +5 evasion). By multiplication, +6 acc vs. +5 acc is a final accuracy of 112.5%. By adding/subtracting stages, that's a +1, or 133%.Ford:
As for accuracy, That's incorrect. When an attack is used, the attacker's Accuracy stat stage is reduced by the opponent's evasiveness stat stage. As an example, assume the opponent uses Double Team three times. Now its evasiveness stat stage is 3, while the attacker's Accuracy stat stage is 0. Thus, when it's time to calculate an attack's accuracy, the attacker's Accuracy (0) is reduced by the opponent's evasiveness (3), thus making the real Accuracy equal to -3, or 3/6 accuracy.
Who is the pokemon with the lowest BST?
It allows Celebi to outspeed Jolly Tyranitar in order to either get off a last minute Thunder Wave or Grass Knot vs it (Grass Knot 2HKOes Ttar).Does Celebi really need those extra EV's in Speed? I mean, it's not going to do any good against TTar anyway...
Would investing them in Defense just be better?
(Defensive Celebi)
Blissey and Rotom-A/Dusknoir.Hippowdon
Skarmory
Forretress
Milotic
What would work best in the last two slots of this stall team? Would I be better off with a Roserade lead and a Tyranitar?
Once they pick the 9 members of the counsel, they will vote. SR will never be considered and they won't cap it either because that would be tinkering with game mechanics.does any one know when they will finish with salamance in suspect and make a verdict. also is there a chance stealth rocks (or too atleast cap it by 25 %) will be next?
Gyarados can't really take a hit and outspeed, so instead I'd recommend Suicune since it can take a hit.I'm not sure if this is the proper place to ask this, but I was thinking of making myself a new Gyarados.
Basically, I need a water type on my team, and I also want something that can kill dragons like dragonite and salamence. Since I can't really seem to fit a proper ice type on my team, is Gyarados with Ice Fang a viable way of taking them out? Most damage calcs seem to make it out as if he should be able to take them out fairly well supposing they don't invest too much in Defense and HP.
That asked, I was wondering which move I should take preference over: Stone Edge or Bounce?
