when you lose to magikarp you know its better to quit being a pokemon trainer. i am not joking. also charizard lost on the first pokemon(dusclops), just-for-the-fans or not that was pathetic(he used seismic toss on that same GHOST pokemon).

he learn something for 2 minutes then forget and start to ask himself what he ate that morning.

Whoa...that's freaky. That episode was on here in NZ earlier this morning and this is the first thing I see when coming onto this thread.

God, the Killer Nacho is so hardcore. Imagine if he was a Smogonite :D The dude's a genius though.

You all have to completely disregard the anime. Seriously, I was bored a couple days ago so read up on the anime. I've never watched it, but it's hilarious to read. Apparently someone's Pelipper negated its electric weakness by grounding itself. Really?

WTF, for reals? That's totally wild.

In all fairness, sometimes an anime has to do things like that for the sake of plot. But either way, LOL.

Real life senarios. I hope they add it to the game. I would really like that. It'd put alot more into the playability of this game...... as if there wasn't enough of that with the 550+ pokes in this game.

And Pikachu hit a golem with thunderbolt, a Plusle hit Dawn's Mamoswine with spark...twice, and Pikachu also hit Brock's onix with thundershock (although, the onix was doused by water sprinklers...which I believe helped). Ash told Pikachu to use thundershock after it learned thunderbolt....the anime is a completely different system than anything else on the planet.

-sigh- I guess I should have known that if I leave a day a new Poke(s) is released.

IMO, the brown thing looks great. I just hope that it's the pseudo pre-evo, Ononokusu's pre-evo, or something like Trapinch was to Flygon. I also hope it's in the desert. The green thing just looks... strange. It looks like the Gothic Lolitas face on a sprout of broccoli. I could care less for it.

Edit: wow, this thread moves fast >< (or I'm the slowest poster on this site and still wants to get his $.02 on the new Pokes).

Cool, so this thing looks pretty cool, actually.

Supposedly Pikachu is supposed to be incredibly uber capable of hitting ground untrained ground types. (I say untrained cause there were some cases where t-bolt had no effect on a ground type. ie Quagsire in movie 5 and I believe pika used t-bolt on the torterra in movie 10.) All fear the UBERCHU. The only pokes capable of hitting present day arceus where Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina failed.

What do you guys think about the new pokes revealed today?

With each passing reveal the pokemon get assier and assier ...

The starters looked great .. Baboom, nazi pigeon, and electric zebra looked great, but then the screens from the game came out and it went all to shit .. then the beta art and it was even worse, somehow ... now this shit. A fucking fat, green, magby. Awesome.

In all fairness, we don't know if it's "pretty cool" until we see its face.

For some reason, I imagined it being yellow, and I can't imagine it being any other color. But it's powder blue I guess.

I'm more partial to back sprites, honestly, because I see them more often than the others (I maybe see my teams front sprites when I check for nature, but that's it) and it looks good. Its face could look ridiculous, but oh well.

Eh, probably not. Aipom had reason to be brought over to Sinnoh: it was caught practically right at the end of the AG-era, and had a new evolution of Ambipom in the Sinnoh-dex.

Maybe Gabite will get a split evolutionary path. What, it could happen. :naughty:

I'm liking the looks of these two new Pokemon. That little brown guy is obviously the same one from the beta artwork, but why'd they get rid of the compound eyes? Anyway, he seems like he could definitely be the first form of a pseudo...that little horn/fin really reminds me of Larvitar and Gabite's respective decorations. However, I don't think he'll be the prevo for Ononokusu. Looking at those red eyes and the shape of that horn, I think he's more likely to evolve into that unnamed red spikey thing. You know, the one standing between the amoeba baby and the gothic Lolita. (Man, did I really just write that sentence?)

More interesting to me is that green and yellow guy with the broccoli on his head. Between those big ears and cutesy face, I think we might finally be looking at the Grass-type koala that everyonekeeps posting Deviant Art pictures of. Thoughts?

Another thing I'm wondering is what that toy behind the two figures in the picture is. Is it just a random teddy bear with no relation to the Pokemon franchise, or could it be the plushie for another new 'mon?

nothingelse i could see it being unless its poison/flying like the zubat line

Why would they make another bat line the exact same type as all the previous ones? Sure, you've got the Normal/Flying birds every generation, but that's a tradition. I'm betting Koromori will be Dark/Flying (since it's based on a nocturnal animal) or maybe Ghost/Flying (its body shape reminds me of Gastly).

Oh, you meant the BACK SPRITE looks good. I guess so, but it's kinda simple and featureless so even then I'd think it'd be hard to judge... but oh well.
