Wooguru is beast looking I imagine it will be as good as staraptor! this is the 1st poke or the new gen that I actually love the way it looks and lets be honest we needed an eagle!
I really hope this war eagle thing is a good Normal/Flying. I wanted it to be another type SO badly, but whatever. Hopefully they can make it Staraptor-esque, even though Staraptor is pretty much the best we can ask for.

I hope Aerodactyl gets Freefall, of all pokemon I'm sure he'd be able to utilize it excellently. (Really, why doesn't that rockheaded son of a bitch get Brave Bird and Head Smash? Q___Q)
Do you think they would make the same mistake with Free Fall as first gen's Wrap-like moves? I doubt it, I'm guessing it won't stop the opponent from using attacks.
aero doesn't get brave bird because he's not a bird
why he doesn't get head smash? maybe because only stuff with really hard heads (rampardos, aggron, relicanth) get it

Well, one thing about Free Fall is that, if the other pokemon is not able to move for one turn, it doesn't matter if you go first or second. For one turn, they won't be able to move.
Think like U-Turn. Scizor uses it even though it's slower, because it takes the hit for the incoming pokemon. The same thing can be said for Free Fall, except you get to keep the bird in rather than switch it out. Either fast or slow, it will work the same.
Fast is still better though.

Has Free Fall been defined yet? To me it just seems like Fly. If they couldn't escape in between turns it'd be interesting though :D
Well, if he really does pick up the opponent, how are they going to attack? They probably gave it like 60 BP or they have a counter attack for it like Thunder to Fly or EQ to Dig.
The zubat line are not birds either but they get brave bird. And I love wooguru scoot on over mamepato because you will not be my flying type.
Crobat's not a bird and he learns it, and then there's Blaziken, who's definitely a bird, but can't even fly. And Aero's ability is ROCK HEAD, one would think that he'd get a rock type attack that utilizes such a head to smash things, say... Idunno... head smash?

Edit: I want to know what typing Gochiruzeru is! And why didn't they show us the Rockmon that was in the battle with Gochi and Rancorous? Maybe... maybe that Rockmon is a legendary pokemon that the enemy team gains control of and you have to have a triple battle between two of the admins (who would own Rancorous and Gochiruzeru) and that thing...

Oh, I thought that the magazine only showed Flying but that it was found to be normal/flying through something else. My bad, but it's not like Psychic is a bad type, and magic guard is aaawesome, especially since it'll probably get Trick, being a psychic type and all. So it could very easily take a flame orb and swap it over to whatever's threatening it. Or it could function as a pretty decent LO sweeper depending on what it's stats are.

That's what I expect too. Clefable's BST is 473 and completely balanced and she even then manages to be useful in OU; if Rankurusu gets ~500 BST and a nice movepool (NASTY PLOT), then I see her being a cool low-tier OU ~__~
