Yes, you can use the radio. Look up Radio seed in the first few pages of this thread and download the program. :-)

And yes, migrate your pokemon that used to be infected. It may still unlock the Elm response.
 
Since I didn't see it mentioned anywhere else (and I'm too lazy to look it up), I can also confirm that the Lati@s from the Soul Dew event are Method K.

To avoid skipping frames you want to load up the Pokegear as soon as you load the game (so that you don't have to worry about the wandering NPCs), get your proper frame, and talk to Lati@s as quickly as possible so that (again you don't skip your frame due to the NPC).

Hello, first time poster here and I am quite interested in the RNG manipulation method. After reading the guides over and over again, I am starting to understand some of the terms but still confused by the whole thing:

I followed steps and this is where I am right now: (attempting high IV Jirachi from wondercard and hope to put knowledge to get the perfect Latias from Enigma stone event that I desire)

1) I calibrated my DS to an external timer and soft-reseted my DS on the minute mark (is it ok that is not synchronized down to the millisecond?)
2) I flew to Mount Silver, saved and soft-reseted on the minute mark.
3) Hammered my A button to get back in game, caught a lv 51 Golbat Jolly Quick tempered 140 101 81 64 85 105 F0501FF 14 501.

Question: Is there any way to verify what I am doing is right so far? I read something about Elm responses and I have met all the conditions to enable the method but I have not succeeded in getting him to respond in the right pattern.

4) At this point I am somewhat confused by hitting your target time... Could someone please explain a bit here?
 
So I'm trying to RNG abuse Raikou. I'm in front of Lance and everything, but the radio, nor the Phone calls work. So how do I advance my frame? :/

Last night, I re-saved and got a different seed. And my start frame for July, 2010 was 5 (again, even after the re-calibration). I got my new seed, and it had a spread on it for frame 41. I had to change my year though to be able to hit my delay. After changing my year though, I have a start frame of 6. >_<


What should I do now?
 
Do I have to make the elm calls before or after I collect the egg? And do I have to advance the frame before or after I collect the egg?

what would be the point once you have the egg, once you have it its IVs have been decided, so of course before, and elm calls advance frames as well.

I have a quick question; when RNG'ing the Enigma Stone Lati@s, what method do we use? And is it the same as normally RNG'ing a stationary legendary?; Saving in front of it, and Soft Resetting, trying to hit you seed?
 
I just tried to use JavaRNG and PikaTimer and got the error "Could not find the main class. Program will exit."

What do I need to run these files?

SProcket have mention this. Its a stationary method K pokemon. Yes you can save in front of it and SR for IV and nature

Unfortunately, you will have to beat lance, kill raikou again, then go to kanto and complete the Ceurlean City team rocket event (find the missing part of the generator and return it to the power plant). Once you return it, go to Lavendar town and go to the radio tower and get the radio upgrade. This will allow you to access you radio station in Lance's Room. It would be in your best interest to go ahead and release Lati@s. It way easier to RNG Lati@s like your going to RNG Raikou. Once you release Lati@s, Go back to lance room and try to rng raikou. Once your rng raikou, go ahead and rng entei and lati@s the same way

Advice when rng pokemon this way. If you know you will not be a second off, be sure set your seed to time function to search for + - second 0.

Dppt pokemon are method J
HGSS are method K

It's method K. Be aware that there's at least one (possibly two) NPCs nearby that can throw you off.
 
I don't know if this has happened to anybody else, but Pikatimer has suddenly decided to count down faster than normal. It worked for the first day and a half, but then I booted it up and it's doing this now. I've re-downloaded it and still the problem persists. Help?

Try rebooting your computer.
 
I need serious help with RNGing for IVs and nature on Enigma Latios. At first I was seconds off the target seed, so I found out that I need to move the minute I reset my DS clock. now im getting 4 seeds off my target and when i put the info into pikatimer im 4 seeds off in the other direction.

Most likely human error. You cannot get the timing exactly everytime, I mean EXACTLY. So just keep trying, you'll hit that middle spot eventually.
 
Hi, I'm new to RNG and I'm trying to RNG Enigma Stone Latios for hopefully good IVs and/or shininess, I'm not exactly sure how to RNG on HG/SS since I've read the DPPt guide and the steps are different... can anybody help me.
 
I need a little bit of help. I've recently downloaded PikaTimer and am using it but the 'Beeps' that occur throughout the countdown aren't working; any solutions?
 
Okay. This is getting down right annoying now.

When I get my seed (this is for Platinum Egg IVs), I keep getting either an odd numbered target frame, and an even numbered start frame, or vice versa. :/

I have got a new seed three times, and I have tried to save at a different time in front of the day care man at a different time to try and hit a different frame a few times as well. Anyadvice as to what I should try now?
