He isn't. Anything with higher speed and earthquake can prob kill it. Well that is if like the "PROS" play and find okay (which is ironic to tiering pokemon/banning moves/items) is to switch out every turn to something else...that flies or levitates which is kind lame...but somehow switching out 95percent of the match is okay...

Yeah Rock/Poison may sound cool but that Ground weakness will kill it. If they gave it Solid Rock, maybe it'll be more useful?
I hate 4x weakness...poor Garchomp. :(

The 4x ground weakness isn't even that big of a deal. It's other weaknesses include Psychic, Water, and Steel. All of those weaknesses (especially Ground) are incredibly easy to play around (with perhaps the slight exception of Water). While its success or failure will most likely rely on its ability, movepool, and stats, a 4x ground weakness does not mean it will suck. The exact same thing was said about Heatran in early DP (everyone thought it would end up BL) and look at it now.

Maybe the reason why Team Plasma wants Reshiram and Zekrom is probably to awaken their master, which is based on pure energy. You know, like Kyogre and Groudon's is Rayquaza and how Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina's is Arceus.

Don't a lot of good pokemon tend to get x4 weakness

Like
Uh
Almost every Dragon type?
Yes and that is why a Ice cat (whatever the hell it is) can Ice Shard them to hell! So ridiculous. Everybody knows dragons have firehearts! Heatran does suck, you HAVE to switch out when you see something that is ground or you just know it will earthquake you. Ban switching, lol.

Garchomp doesn't have that problem too. I mean, Dragonite, Rayquaza, Salamence, etc. have that problem.

You mean he DOES have that problem. Guy is Dragon/Ground (or the other way around) which means he gets ice raped. Our so called ARMOR pkmn can't take a punch (Tyranitar) and um Articuno can't take some rocks.

As strange as this sounds, but I think it is rather weird for a 14 year old such as myself to buy the game. My parents might be all like "WTF is with this kid?"

that is like saying heatran typing is not cool.

sandslash evo would be nice, im sick tired of everyone saying donphan outclass.
Same here, everytime that I use Sandslash people jump on me: Why? Donphan outclasses it, Sandslash can't even scratch it! I want the evo to have the elemental punches if it's confirmed, to say the least

The average age on Smogon is actually a lot higher than 14.. Most of the staff is in their final years of high school, are in college, or have graduated. It isn't that strange.

I always wanted a sandslash evo. Named sandslay, ground steel, good stats plox

I'm 14 as well, but you shouldn't be ashamed of liking Pokemon. Sure people make fun of it because the crappy anime makes it look bad, but don't let that stop you from playing Pokemon. Hell, my parents don't like me playing it, but that doesn't stop me from playing the games.

heh, now that you guys mention its the same here. i got 14 years and my parents always used to think pokemon was for little kids before i explained to them about all the numbers and shit, now my grandfather also wanna play. i hope gen 5 make things easier for begginers with some random guy explaning about ivs and evs.

the human does not respect what is not know to him.

I know, but it makes me feel uncomfortable :|

That's what I was thinking. It seems perfectly reasonable too. The whole season changing aspect just makes me more hopeful (more likely to come out during autumn or whatever).
I feel like a Stantler evo would need another type besides normal (or completely change it's type) to really be competitively used... Suggestions?

stantler evo would be normal ghost or normal psy

I wonder what the 3rd member's tail is supposed to represent. Reshiram's tail represents a campfire, Zekrom's tail represents a power generator, and the 3rd member I have no idea. Then again that was just a theory, since I am not sure if Reshiram's tail is supposed to represent a campfire at all, but rather something else.

It's a torch, not a campfire

Wait a minute..... if there is yin and yang, Reshiram and Zekrom, that must mean that the trio master is a member itself! Why? I will explain:

Since there is no other Pokemon that can represent the Yin Yang symbol other than Reshiram and Zekrom, there would be only 1 other Pokemon that can fit in with these 2 Pokemon that represent the Yin Yang: the trio master itself!

Here is a possible trio master:

Say hello to Pangu, the creator deity of Chinese religion. He was the one responsible for creating the world by splitting Yin and Yang with a giant axe, thus creating Earth (Yang) and the Sky (Yin). It took 18,000 years for him to complete this task. Every year, the sky grew higher, and Pangu became taller. After the task has been complete, he was laid to rest. His breath became the wind, his body the extremes and the mountains, his facial hair the stars and Milky Way, his bones the valuable minerals and bone marrows the sacred diamonds. His sweat fell as rain, his hair became the bushes and forests, and the fleas from his fur blown by the wind became animals.

There is only 1 problem with this though: this is already bestowed to Arceus, according to Bulbapedia. However, at least this may be useful information, as Pangu has created the Earth and all of what is there is in existance, according to Chinese mythology.

Since Arceus is the creator deity in the Pokemon universe, I doubt this information will be supporting. Oh well!
